Give yourself permission to eat. The more we restrict the more fixated we become on what we’ve told ourselves we can’t have.
You might not believe it, but the human brain cannot comprehend the negative. It’s true, so says Simon Sinek, and he’ll even give you an example to prove it. Are you ready?

You can’t tell the human brain not to do something. Whenever we put something in the negative, we’re often reinforcing the idea instead of pushing it away.

The people in your age group who did NOT experience life altering Trauma had an advantage over you. Your brain was focused on surviving while they were free to develop and grow. You might feel like you’re behind but its only because you were doing your best to survive.
And although it’s easier to stay still and live the same day over and over again, to truly live means exploring the depths of our soul to continuously create a better version of our self.
I’m often asked how I survived not 1 but 2 divorces by the age of 35. Anyone who has experienced divorce will understand that it's extremely traumatic. It's a very dark place. How?
I accepted, it is what it is,
I explored self-awareness,
I stopped blaming others and myself,
I allowed myself to be vulnerable,
I reconnected with my inner child,
And most importantly, I gave myself the same love I’ve always given to others and stopped seeking home in other hearts to validate my worth.
Trust your Journey and look at the bigger picture.
❤️ I still believe in love. My forever, we shall meet.

Boundaries are so important.
But, they’re not always easy to set.
If you’ve found yourself struggling when it comes to setting boundaries or you find yourself questioning whether the boundaries you want to set are even worth doing so, this post is for you.
I want to address a few common struggles when it comes to boundary setting and how you can overcome them. You deserve to set boundaries, you deserve to have healthy and happy relationships in your life! Don’t be afraid to hone in on your feelings and do what you need in order to achieve inner peace.

Why should we walk everyday?
When I say that, it's a good idea to walk everyday, I am not saying something, which you've never heard before. We are all aware of the many health benefits of frequent walking.
Whether you walk in the morning, the evening, or some other time of day, your habit helps keep you fit not only physically and mentally but also emotionally.
Despite the obvious benefits, we all sometimes skip out therapeutic walks. Whether due to busyness, lethargy, lack of interest, depression, or preoccupation, it's easy to let our healthiest habit fall by the wayside.
I not only walk for physical exercise I walk when I'm in turmoil, when I can't think, when I am exhausted and afraid and feeling very very alone. I go for walks. It's just one of those things I do. I walk and sooner or later, something comes to me. I create my own path with each step.

Take 1 minute a day to focus on how you can achieve a goal,
Take 1 minute a day to focus on your health,
Take 1 action or 1 behaviour and reduce it down to 1 minute.
If you can get that behaviour to be a habit, it’s easier to stack,
Habits are stacked on strong foundations,
Build your foundation 1 minute per day.

Food is not intrinsically good or bad. We need to stop labelling in this manner because everything is there to be enjoyed.
Food is something to be seen as a positive aspect of life.
Offering fuel, enjoyment and happiness for your mind and body.
.. And that is what I call a healthy relationship with food.

💚 RESPECT your body. Without your body, it's impossible to function day in day out.
💚 REFUEL food is energy, food is fuel. Think about how you can fuel your day with the essential nutrition.
💚 REHYDRATE your body is made up of 60% water. The simple step to a functional body and mind. Feeling lathergic and low of energy? Check your hydration intake.
💚 REST the most underestimated of all. Sleep is not just to recover your muscles, it's important for your hormones and is too frequently overlooked.
