Congratulation to our Round 13 McDonald's junior players of the week - Fern from Rovers U10's and Nixie from Rapid Rovers. With only 3 rounds to go, we’re heading into the final stretch of the season! It’s been fantastic watching our juniors grow in confidence, build their skills and, most importantly, enjoy their netball each week.

Round 13 of tomorrow's Junior draw is out!

A reminder to all within our Netball Community that all Teams will gather together tomorrow on Court 4 at 7:30pm in memory of Amanda Connor (née McLean)

Giants Netball Club and Wests Netball Club are coming together to honour the life and legacy of our dear friend, teammate and much-loved member of the Alice Springs community, Amanda Connor (née McLean).

Amanda was a devoted wife, loving mum, treasured friend and a familiar face within the Alice Springs Netball Association. She began her netball journey with Giants Netball Club before later joining Wests Netball Club, where she continued to share her love of the game, her sportsmanship and her beautiful spirit.

After a courageous battle with ovarian cancer, Amanda sadly passed away on 14th of July 2025. While she is deeply missed, her kindness, determination and passion for netball continue to inspire so many.

On Thursday August 6th, Giants and Wests will come together for the Amanda Connor Memorial Game. This special Division 2 match will honour Amanda’s life, celebrate her love of netball, and remember the incredible person she was both on and off the court.

Then on Saturday August 8, we invite everyone to join us for our BBQ, Bake Sale and Fundraising Raffles, with all proceeds supporting Ovarian Cancer Australia. Together, we’ll raise awareness and funds in Amanda’s memory while continuing the fight against ovarian cancer.

There will be:
- Memorial tribute
- Fundraising raffles
- BBQ & Bake Sale (Saturday)
- Opportunities to donate to Ovarian Cancer Australia

If you or your business would like to donate a raffle prize, baked goods, or support the fundraiser in any way, please send us a message. Every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and will help make a difference.

Together, let’s honour Amanda’s legacy, celebrate the impact she had on our community, and support vital ovarian cancer research and awareness in her memory.

Round 14 of the Senior draw is out.

A huge thank you to McDonald's Alice Springs for helping us celebrate and support our amazing Rovers umpires! Whether they're blowing the whistle for their very first season or have years of experience, our umpires are such an important part of our club, and it's fantastic to have local businesses like McDonald's Alice Springs getting behind them.

We loved handing out these awesome goodies and seeing the smiles on our umpires' faces. 😊

Saturday August 29 - Join us for a morning of Fun, Netball & Celebrations!

It’s time to celebrate our amazing U8–U10 players, whether it be their first season or their last before stepping up to Under 11s!

Round Robin Games of 20 Mins 9-10am, then Medal Presentation & Team Photos, and then some yummy KFC!
