The Darling Downs Heavy Horse Festival 2026 is scheduled for 14 - 15 March.
Heavy Horses - Clydesdale, Percheron, Shire, Draught Horse, Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse competing in breed, harness, saddle and working classes along with displays of the Working Bullocks, Donkeys and Mules that built our nation!
Working demonstrations, Heritage displays, Wheelwrighting, Ploughing, Market Stalls, Food vendors and a licenced bar.
Come and visit “the best little town on the Downs!” - Camping is available.
