A huge weekend for our Senior teams, with all three bringing home the win! 👏🐓

A special shout out as well to Benny from First Nations Melbourne Rugby League, who came out to Bruce Comben Reserve to help us celebrate Indigenous Round and share culture with our players and community. We really appreciated having you there and being part of the day. ❤️💛🖤

We’ve got another massive weekend of footy ahead at Bruce Comben Reserve!

Friday night kicks off with our Juniors & Internationals under lights, before we roll into a huge Saturday of games across all three fields from 9:00am through to First Grade Men.

With so many teams at home, we need all hands on deck to help make the day run smoothly.

🔴 Every team MUST supply its own Ground Managers.

⚪ As we host another busy home round, a reminder that the playing area is for authorised personnel only. Our Ground Managers will be actively managing the field enclosure throughout the day to help provide a safe, professional and enjoyable environment for everyone.

🔵 Extra help in the canteen and café is always welcome.

It’s going to be another big one at the Roosters, so come down, get behind our teams, grab a bite from the canteen or café, and help us make Round 13 a great one!

At the Altona Roosters, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful and positive environment for every player, coach, volunteer, official and family member.

The NRL Code of Conduct applies everywhere our game is played — including online. This means the same standards of respect, fairness and good sportsmanship apply to conversations, comments, messages and social media posts.

We ask all members of our Roosters family to:
✅ Show respect to players, coaches, officials, volunteers and other families
✅ Support our kids in a positive way
✅ Think before posting, commenting or sharing online
✅ Never use social media to target, criticise, embarrass or intimidate others

Most importantly, our children should always feel safe, supported and valued at our club.

If a player feels unsafe, uncomfortable, or has concerns about something that has happened at training, games or online, we encourage them (and their families) to speak up and raise it with the club. Concerns can be discussed with a coach, team manager or club committee member so we can support our players and address issues appropriately.

Together, we can continue to build a club culture we are proud of.
