🖤🤍 Another Magpie on the world stage! 🇫🇯🏉

A huge shout out and best of luck to former Asquith Magpies senior women's player Nanise Vakacavu, who will represent the Fiji Bulikula at their historic first Rugby League World Cup!

Nani was awarded Most Outstanding Player in our inaugural Women's team, and has since gone on to sign with the Cronulla Sharks.

Now she's taking that talent and determination onto the international stage, where she'll have plenty to offer the Fijian forward pack.

It's fantastic to see another former Magpie making her mark in the game, and we couldn't be prouder.

Good luck, Nani! The Magpies family will be cheering you on! 🖤🤍🇫🇯

Congratulations Ben Taylor
🏆 CONGRATULATIONS BEN TAYLOR 🖤🤍
This weekend, the North Sydney Junior Rugby League recognised some of the incredible local volunteers who gave so much throughout the 2026 season — and for the Asquith Magpies, that honour went to Ben Taylor.
And we couldn’t think of a more deserving recipient.
Ben gives tirelessly to our club. He’s there from sun-up to sundown, week after week, doing whatever needs to be done and constantly lifting the bar for those around him.
The truth is, community sporting clubs simply do not exist without volunteers. Every game played, every BBQ fired up, every team that takes the field and every great day at Storey Park has people behind the scenes giving their time because they care.
Volunteers like Ben are very hard to come by, and we know just how lucky we are to have him as part of the Magpies family.
Congratulations Ben, and thank you for everything you continue to give to our players, families and our great club.
Very well deserved. 🖤🤍🐦‍⬛

🚨 GAME TIME UPDATE — SATURDAY AT STOREY PARK 🚨

Unfortunately, our U12 Gold side has been hit with another forfeit, which means Saturday’s schedule has changed.

⚫⚪ U14 GOLD PRELIMINARY FINAL
🆚 Belrose Eagles
⏰ NEW KICK-OFF — 12:00PM
📍 Storey Park

The full BBQ will still be cranking, and now there’s even less reason not to get down there!

This is do-or-die footy for our U14s — one win away from a Grand Final. Let’s pack the sideline, make plenty of noise and make sure the boys know the whole Magpies family is behind them.

12PM. STOREY PARK. BE THERE. 🖤🤍

18/08/2026

🏁 JUST WHEN WE THOUGHT IT WAS OVER…
We’ve got ONE MORE DAY AT STOREY PARK! 🖤🤍
We’ll have the BBQ cranking, we’ll have the familiar faces around the ground and we’ll have footy. And not just any footy…
🔥 1PM — U14 GOLD PRELIMINARY FINAL
ASQUITH MAGPIES v BELROSE EAGLES
The boys are one win away from a Grand Final. Come down, line the sideline and make some noise. Show them we’re behind them and help cheer them all the way into next week.
And there’s plenty before the main event:
10AM — U11 BLACK v WHITE
11AM — U12 SILVER v Pennant Hills Stags
12PM — U12 GOLD v Narraweena Hawks
1PM — U14 GOLD PRELIMINARY FINAL
One last Saturday. One last chance to grab a spot on the sideline, catch up with your Magpies family and cheer on the Black & White at Storey Park in 2026.
You thought we were done? Not quite.
SATURDAY — BE THERE. 🖤🤍
And when it's over we're all jumping in our cars and heading to Avalon to cheer on the u13s in their Final😃

And just like that, Gala Days are done and the season is wrapped up for our Mini & Mod Magpies! 🖤🤍
By the look of the smiles on all those faces, it was an awesome way to finish another fantastic season of footy.
For these little Magpies, it’s about so much more than wins and losses. It’s about making mates, having fun, learning the game and falling in love with footy.
We’re pretty sure they’ll all be back next year — hopefully dragging a few more mates along with them!
Today they’re our littlest Magpies… but who knows where the journey takes them from here.
The Magpies and Bears of the future start right here. 🖤🤍🐻
A massive thank you to all our coaches, managers, volunteers, parents and families who made the season possible. Enjoy the break, little Magpies — we can’t wait to see you all back in 2027!
