🌟 NIGHT SOCCER — WEEK 2 🌟

The Week 2 draw is now available! Please check the draw carefully and ensure your team is aware of its game time and referee allocation.

⚠️ REFEREE DUTIES

Each team with registered players will be allocated a game to referee either before or after its own match each week.

Where possible, please report to the MadHouse five minutes before your allocated time to collect a whistle and game booklet.

Any team that fails to attend its referee duty without contacting the Night Soccer Committee or arranging a swap will have its own game result forfeited.

🚨 WE NEED MORE REFEREES!

Without additional referees, we simply will not be able to run the Night Soccer season.

If you can assist—even for just one or two games—please visit the MadHouse and let us know. Referees are paid for every game they officiate.

❗ FORFEITS

If your team needs to forfeit, please message the page as soon as possible. Early notice allows us to notify the opposing team and make any necessary adjustments to the draw.

🔗 IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

From next Tuesday, any player who has not completed their registration through Squadi — Burdekin FC will not be eligible to take the field.

Burdekin FC has subsidised the $35 Football Queensland fee to $20 to assist players. All players must register. Please enter the following discount code during registration:

DISCOUNT CODE: NS2026

This fee provides essential insurance coverage. Without registration, you are not covered in the event of an injury or accident, and Burdekin FC cannot accept liability for an unregistered player.

Please follow the registration instructions carefully, as the club is unable to refund the $35 fee if the discount code is not entered.

No registration means no play from next Tuesday.

*All Female Players who were registered with Burdekin FC at the beginning of the year count as a registered player.

*Colts count as registered players

*Only 3 registered players per team

*All players registered in the Football Queensland North competition count as a registered player

We urgently need committed player numbers to be able to field our Division 1 and Division 2 Men’s teams this season. Without registrations we simply won’t be able to enter teams.

The 47th Delta Cleaners & Laundry Night Soccer season has drawn to a close!

🙌Thank you to Delta Cleaners & Laundry for their generous sponsorship for 47 years of this event! Without your continued support and commitment we would not be able to provide social soccer to the Burdekin!
🙌Thank you to all the teams who nominated and played throughout the season! We hope you enjoyed the season and see you back next September to do it all over again!
🙌To all the volunteers (Referees, line markers, Bar Staff, Canteen Committee, SLOBS raffle crew), you guys are amazing! We cannot thank you enough for the time and energy and support! Without the help of our volunteers, Night Soccer would not exist! 🫶🏼

The 2025 Night Soccer Committee would also like to extend a thank you to all those who come down to support whether it’s weekly Tuesday night games or the Friday Night finals!⚽️

GRAND FINAL TIME💥⚽️

Games kick off this Friday Night from 6pm!

🎟️Raffle Tickets will be sold to raise money for the SLOBS. $2 a ticket or 3 for $5 with the winner being announced Friday Night

🥂Bar Open from 5:30pm til Late

🍔Canteen will be open from 6:30pm! Menu can be found in the comments

🏆Winners & Runner up presentations will be presented at the conclusion of the Men’s AGrade Final. We do ask that all teams stay around, have a drink and support other teams and be present for presentations to grab a team photo etc.

SEMI FINALS TIME⚽️💥

GRAND FINALS TO BE PLAYED THIS FRIDAY

Important Notes:

- All Games MUST have a result. If the game ends in a draw, the game will go into drop offs.

 1. Get ready to start Extra Time with five players only. This must be done in approximately 60 seconds time
2. Siren will sound to start TWO minutes of Extra Time
3. Siren will sound to end Extra Time. Stop game and remove a player from each team
4. Restart game (no siren will be heard until the end of the next Two minutes of Extra Time
5. Siren will be heard to end Extra Time. Stop game and remove one player from each team. Now THREE players on each team.
6. Restart game (no siren will be heard until the end of the next TWO minutes of Extra Time
7. Siren will be heard to end Extra Time. If scores are still level Sudden Death Shoot outs will decide the winner.

All players must be registered. Only players registered and on your team sheet are eligible to take the field. Any team who does not comply with these rules will not be eligible to play Grand Finals.

All winners on Tuesday will move to their respective division Grand Finals.

🥅TEAM REFEREES
Please ensure you present yourself to the madhouse in a timely manner to retrieve your book and whistle. Those who do not show or haven’t notified will be penalised points for that week. If you can assist in any way it is greatly appreciated!
