Today’s recap….

Well it didn’t go as planned… unfortunately I hit the wall full noise I felt something let go aand just couldn’t do anything, a cracked rim let us down, such is life and racing. We are ok, thankfully the safety gear did its thing and we are grateful for that. Sorry Tyson, you sir were going to blitz today and I stuffed it up.

Day 1 at Daylesford complete.

I did 2 heats in the ladies for the roz finishing 1st and 2nd, decided to not do the 3rd and save the car.

Tyson had a great first day out in Nuggies, first heat getting feel of car and wet track finished last and then two heat wins! Way to go. Looks like I’ve lost my car 😅

Back tomorrow for the last round of heats and finals.

Tonight sees us at redline for a run. Hopefully this rain holds off! We have the one and only Arron Windus coming passenger tonight, hopefully he doesn’t get to scared 😅

The trek to nyora tonight was uneventful. With only 3 cars showing up, our laps were cut significantly. 2 heats of 4 laps and a final of 6.
Won the first heat second in the second heat, put it off pole for the final. Decided to put the new tyres on the front, only to have one pop one lap in. However the car felt mint for 30secs and we got a good jump. But wasn’t meant to be. 😒 kinda kicking myself but it is what it is. Redline next week.

Unfortunately tonight wasn’t our night, for either myself or Tyson. We both had a bit of a handful, but we did the best we could with what we had. Tyson didn’t start his final but happily sent me out for mine to finish 3rd. Thanks so much for letting me steer ur baby. You can have have Bonnie blue back now, I’ll stick to my nuggies 😜
