These girls are chasing a dream — to represent their community at the SingaCup 2026 International Youth Football Tournament in Singapore. Can you help them get there? Our Under 14 girls squad, made up of players from Barwon Heads and surrounding clubs, have been selected to tour with LS Talents and compete internationally this November. This opportunity comes from a simple belief where Barwon Heads Soccer Club strongly believe girls who stay in sport gain confidence, resilience and lifelong friendships. During the teenage years many girls drop out of sport, and experiences like this can be the difference between walking away and staying involved for life. The SingaCup will bring together teams from around the world. For our players, it’s not just about football — it’s about independence, teamwork, cultural experience and discovering what they are capable of beyond their local competition. We want our girls to see what is possible when they commit to a goal, support each other and step outside their comfort zone.

⚽🇸🇬 AN UNEXPECTED OPPORTUNITY – SINGACUP 2026 🇸🇬⚽

Sometimes football can be incredibly cruel.

Unfortunately, our SingaCup 2026 Girls Touring Squad has been hit by injuries to several of our players, including our goalkeeper and members of our midfield.

First and foremost, our thoughts are with the girls. They have worked incredibly hard to earn their places in this squad, and everyone involved with the team is supporting them through their recovery. ❤️

However, their unfortunate circumstances have unexpectedly opened the door for 2–3 additional players to potentially join our squad for an incredible football experience in Singapore.

So… could this be your opportunity?

OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH PETEILLE, JULIA & GEELONG RANGERS SC

Football has some incredible highs, but unfortunately it can also bring some really tough moments.

Over the weekend, two members of our 2026 LS Talents Victoria SingaCup squad — Peteille and Julia — suffered significant injuries while representing Geelong Rangers SC in the U15/16 Community League Finals at Golden Plains.

We only had the pleasure of having Peteille and Julia together with our SingaCup squad for one training session, but both made an immediate impression. Two exceptional young footballers, fantastic teammates and genuine Geelong Rangers Football Club superstars.

Everyone involved with our 2026 SingaCup squad shares in the disappointment with Peteille, Julia, their families and the entire Geelong Rangers community. 💙

Most importantly, we wish both girls a safe and speedy recovery. Football will be waiting for you when you're ready. 💪⚽

We also want to recognise Matt, the coaching staff and every one of the Geelong Rangers girls who showed incredible courage and resilience to regroup after a lengthy delay, return to the field and continue competing against an excellent Ballarat side — ultimately getting the win. Well done girls!

THE SQUAD COMES TOGETHER!

After months of recruiting, planning and searching for the right players, today we finally got to see our SingaCup 2026 squad come together on the pitch for the first time!

A huge thank you to Surf Coast Soccer Club for giving us the opportunity to train on their astro — the perfect environment to begin our preparations for Singapore.

I've been coaching for just over 30 years, so it takes a fair bit for me to get too excited after one training session... but today felt pretty special.

We knew the talent was there.

What we didn't know was how quickly the chemistry would come.

The girls clicked. They communicated. They smiled. They challenged each other. Most importantly, they listened, learned and genuinely looked like they were having fun playing together.

Today we introduced our playing philosophy — Football Intelligence, technique, recognising patterns, making decisions and understanding WHY we do things on the pitch.

There is plenty of work ahead, and we still have three girls to join the group, but today's first glimpse was exciting.

The talent is there.
The chemistry is there.

Singapore... we're coming!

SINGACUP 2026 PREPARATIONS KICK OFF!

The hard work is about to begin!

For the first time, our SingaCup 2026 girls will come together as a team, with players from four local clubs joined by two of our NSW players to take on the Nike Cup at the Home of the Matildas!

This is where 15 individual players start becoming ONE SQUAD.

We can't wait to see the girls take the field together, start building combinations, learn each other's games and put into practice the game plans and strategies we've been working on.

The Nike Cup will give us our first real test as a group — quality opposition, competitive football and the perfect opportunity to find out what works, what we need to improve and how we can best prepare for what awaits us in Singapore.

The squad has been selected.
The planning is done.
Now the work begins.

And what an important piece she is…

LS Talents Victoria is incredibly excited to announce that **16-year-old Peteille Frequin Carr-Howard**, goalkeeper and **2026 Captain of the Geelong Rangers Senior Women’s Division 1 team**, has been selected for our **U16 Girls SingaCup 2026 Touring Squad!** 🇦🇺✈️🇸🇬

**We've found our shot stopper!** 🧤🔥

Peteille is a goalkeeper with all the attributes you want from the player standing between the posts — **brave, courageous, determined, vocal and a natural leader.**

She commands her area with confidence, communicates exceptionally well with the players in front of her and possesses that priceless goalkeeper mentality — when the pressure comes, **she wants to be the one her team can rely on.**

And Peteille's football journey is going from strength to strength.

In **2025 she was voted Players' Player** by her Geelong Rangers teammates — an award that speaks volumes about the respect she has earned from those who train and compete alongside her.

Fast forward to 2026 and, at just **16 years of age**, Peteille is now **captaining the Geelong Rangers Senior Women's Division 1 team.** ⭐

That's some achievement.

A massive congratulations must also go to Geelong Rangers Football Club💙

Peteille is another outstanding example of the young female talent being developed at Rangers, and her progression through the club's **goalkeeper program and into senior women's football** is something the entire club should be incredibly proud of.

To be captaining a senior women's side at 16 and now earning the opportunity to represent her club on the international stage is testament to Peteille's hard work, as well as the coaches and people at Geelong Rangers who have supported her development.

Now she gets the opportunity to take everything she has learned and put it to the test against international opposition at SingaCup. 🌏⚽

Our interstate contingent just got even stronger!

LS Talents Victoria is thrilled to announce that **15-year-old Evie Johnson**, from the mighty **Port United Strikers**, has been selected to represent the **LS Talents Victoria U16 Girls Touring Squad** at the **SingaCup International Youth Football Tournament 2026** in Singapore! 🇸🇬🌏

Evie is the **second of our exciting NSW imports from Port United**, joining fellow Greenblood **Charli Hoitink** on the journey to Singapore. 💚🤍

And what an addition Evie is to our defensive unit!

Playing across **Centre Back, Left Back or Right Back**, Evie is a genuine **defensive powerhouse** — strong in the contest, intelligent with her positioning and possessing an outstanding ability to read the game.

But winning the ball is only half the job for Evie.

What makes her such an exciting defender is what happens **next**. ⚽🔥

Evie has the vision and passing ability to win possession and then distribute the ball with **pinpoint precision**, quickly turning **defence into attack** and getting her team moving forward.

That combination of defensive strength, composure and football intelligence will be incredibly valuable when we come up against quality international opposition at SingaCup.

Her football journey has already seen Evie compete at **FMNC U16 level and the State Youth Championships**, experiences that will add even more depth to our touring squad.

A massive congratulations once again to ** FC**. 💚🤍

To have **two young female footballers from the club selected to represent LS Talents Victoria internationally** is a fantastic achievement and another reflection of Port United's commitment to developing and creating opportunities for girls in football.

LS Talents Victoria is thrilled to announce that **14-year-old Hattie Percy**, striker for the **Lara United SC U16A Girls**, has been selected to represent the **LS Talents Victoria U16 Girls Touring Squad** at the **SingaCup International Youth Football Tournament 2026** in Singapore! 🇸🇬🌏

And we've got another exciting young goalscorer joining our attacking ranks! ⚽🔥

Hattie is a striker who combines **speed, intelligent positioning and an ability to read the game** with one of the most important qualities any young footballer can possess…

❤️ **PASSION FOR THE GAME.**

Her performances have already started attracting attention.

Hattie was **scouted and invited to trial for TIDC (Talent Identification & Development Centre)** and successfully earned her place — another fantastic step forward in her development as a young footballer. ⭐

And when it comes to finding the back of the net, Hattie knows exactly where it is!
