💙 LIFE MEMBER | KAREN JOHNS 💙
Bathurst 75 FC is incredibly proud to announce Karen Johns as the newest Life Member of our Club.
Karen’s 75s story began in 2009 when she signed up four-year-old son Riley to play football and became a soccer mum, while also expecting daughter Mia.
Seventeen years later, Riley is part of our senior men’s squad, Mia our senior women’s squad, and Karen’s journey has grown into an extraordinary contribution across almost every area of 75s.
Karen began managing in 2010 and has served as Club Secretary for 15 years, as well as Treasurer and Member Protection Information Officer. Her work across administration, governance, safeguarding and financial management has played an important role in keeping our Club strong and sustainable.
Since beginning coaching in 2015, Karen has coached from U6 through to senior women, played senior women’s football since 2018 and been a driving force behind the growth of our women’s program.
In 2025 she returned to Mini Football with our U11s, guiding them into competitive U12 football this season. She also took on our U13s during the latter part of 2026, alongside her senior women’s commitments, coaching five teams across the season.
Karen achieved her FA/FFA C Diploma in 2023 and FA/FFA B Diploma in 2026, reflecting her commitment to continually developing as a coach. She also works with Football NSW, taking her coaching into regional schools.
Beyond 75’s, Karen volunteered for six years as MPIO for Bathurst District Football. Her grassroots experience has also developed into recognised expertise in governance, compliance and safeguarding, supporting clubs and associations across a range of sports.
From soccer mum to manager, coach, player, administrator, advocate and leader, Karen has given an extraordinary amount to Bathurst 75 FC.
We look forward to formally recognising Karen at our Senior Presentation Night.
💙 Welcome to the esteemed group of Bathurst 75 FC Life Members, Kaz. 💙
