2027 is going to be a great year!

After a successful AGM, we are thrilled to introduce our new committee:

💜 FAREWELL AND THANK YOU 💜

Tonight at the AGM we formally said goodbye to Julia and Kayana.

Their work as president and vice-president over the years has been tireless and they have led OOT to becoming the largest netball club in the Bathurst Association.

Over their tenure (and with the help of the other committee members) they have introduced All Abilities Netball to Bathurst, created the inaugural 12 hour mental health fund-raiser and bought in free training shirts for all players.

As a president Julia knew everyone's name, she was always sidelines and helped coached many teams. Plus, she always made sure everyone had enough to eat at functions (it's the Italian in her! 🇮🇹)

Kayana was not only vice-president but also led our social media and publicity accounts for the past 5 years. She created engagement, kept everyone updated and absolutely overused puns at every opportunity 🙈

Out Of Touch Netball Club is headed for a new path and we are very grateful for everything Julia and Kayana have bought to the club.

We are thrilled to announce the very deserving winner of our club person of the year award:

✨️Theresa Fullerton! ✨️

Theresa is not only the OOT club committee treasurer but she also coaches one of our junior teams.

Theresa is the an absolute legend and we are very lucky to have her as part of the OOT family.

💜 COACH OF THE YEAR 💜

Congratulations to Simone Reedy who was awarded the 2026 Out Of Touch Netball Club coach of the year award for 2026!

Simone was the co-coach for the 16A premiership winning Mower Pro Buffleheads! She also assisted the Key Conveyancing Solutions Sapphires in 12As!

Both teams benefited from her strong leadership, fantastic knowledge and excellent sense of humour!

Simone wasn't able to attend because she was competing at Netball NSW Masters so instead her mini-me, Evie accepted the award.

Thank you Simone for all the tireless effort you put into OOT in 2026! We appreciate you loads!

Congratulations to Maddy Gottschau our 2026 Senior Sportsperson of the Year award recipient.

Maddy gives so much and is always supporting OOT: she plays, she coaches and she's our umpire coordinator. We are very grateful for all that you do!
