💤 "I think I fell asleep during the sound bath... did I miss out?"

It's one of the questions I hear most often.

Some people stay fully awake during a sound bath.
Some drift in and out.
Some fall asleep completely.

And many people experience a combination of all three!

The reality is that there is no "perfect" sound bath experience. What arises often depends on what is happening in your life and what your mind and body may need in that moment.

The truth is that many people fall asleep when they finally feel safe, comfortable, and able to let go. Between the soothing sounds, dim lighting, cosy blankets, and permission to simply rest, the body sometimes takes the opportunity to catch up on what it needs most.

Last night I stepped outside my comfort zone and into the beautiful world of voice activation with Samsaruh in Bondi.

It was a powerful reminder that our voice is so much more than something we use to speak. It can be a tool for expression, healing, connection, and presence.

As someone who shares Tai Chi, meditation, and sound baths, I'm excited to continue exploring my voice and gently weave more vocal elements into my offerings this year.

Learning is a lifelong journey, and I love that there is always something new to discover.
