Yarrabilba parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am at Darlington Parklands. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Yarrabilba parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am at the Yarrabilba Estate, approx 48km south west of Brisbane's CBD. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

Happy parkrunday eve parkrunners.
Just a quick post, Yarrabilba parkrun doesn’t usually cancel due to rain.
While our course gets a little slippery it doesn’t flood much.
A course check will be carried out later today to make sure nothing is blocking the paths.
A reminder post with an update will be made this afternoon.

Edit : Thank you to our parkrun community legends.🤩Happy RD🥰Thanks Spencer

As promised it rained a little, then it stopped! 97 hardy souls tossed a coin and elected to start their weekend at Yarrabilba parkrun. It was great to see you all - regulars, tourists and newcomers (of which there were 11 starting their parkrun journey this morning). I hope you all enjoyed the experience and continue on in the parkrun world. Also there were 7 new PB’s this morning - definitely great having the cooler weather again.

Next week the ever smiling Spencer is leading his merry crew of volunteers. If you’d like to join the team as there are a few vacant roles then send us a message. Don’t miss out as it’s a hot gig and demand is high!

Thank you to all the volunteers this morning. A great effort from everyone.

See you all again next time.

Well what a beautiful parkrunday we had this morning and 140 finishers can attest to that. Amongst those we welcomed 11 First Timers to the parkrun universe and 25 parkrun Tourists joining us, including our Tailwalkers all the way from WA. We hoped you all enjoyed our course and we see you back again very soon.
In fact 14 of our finishers enjoyed it so much they got themselves a PB, enjoy the PB buzz because you have a new time to chase down.
