Good luck to all our teams hitting the court for the first weekend of Summer Season and Week 1 of grading!

New teams, new teammates, and a brand-new season ahead. Bring the energy, back each other and most importantly, enjoy being back on the court!

After six seasons with Berwick Flames, it’s time to say farewell to the Lloyd family as they begin their next chapter.

Summah and Dakota have spent the past six seasons growing up on the court with the Flames, with their dad Shaun right there alongside them, coaching their teams, and mum Kristy supporting behind the scenes as Team Manager. 🏀

Coach Shaun has always brought kindness, patience and encouragement to his teams. A true girl dad through and through, he created an environment where his players felt supported, included and encouraged to enjoy their basketball.

Whether it was a new player joining the team or a fill-in stepping onto the court for the first time, Shaun always made sure they felt welcomed and part of the group. ❤️

Summah and Dakota, we’ve loved watching you grow as players and teammates over the years, and we hope you take plenty of great Flames memories with you.

To Shaun, Kristy, Summah and Dakota, thank you for six wonderful seasons and everything your family has brought to our club.

You’ll all be greatly missed, and we wish you nothing but the very best for whatever comes next. ❤️🤍🖤

🏀 U12 Jazz | What a Season! ❤️🤍🖤

What a great season for our U12 Jazz girls!

This season was about so much more than wins and losses. The girls built new friendships, welcomed a new teammate with open arms, and really grew together as a team. ❤️

They worked hard throughout the season and earned themselves a well-deserved place in the finals! 🔥

Their finals game was an incredibly close one, with the girls fighting right until the end and falling short by just 4 points. They gave it everything they had and should be so proud of the way they played and supported each other.

Most importantly, they had fun, made plenty of memories and finished the season as an even closer group of teammates and friends.

A huge thank you to Coach Kevin, Assistant Coach Serenity and Team Manager Rachel for the time, commitment and care you’ve given this team throughout the season. Thank you for guiding the girls, encouraging them and helping create such a positive team environment for them to learn, grow and enjoy their basketball. ❤️🤍🖤

❤️🤍🖤 Thank you, Coach Allen 🏀🔥

As Allen finishes his time coaching with Berwick Flames, we want to say a huge thank you for everything he has given to our club and the many players he has coached along the way.

Across both our girls and boys teams, Allen’s kindness, patience and encouragement have made a lasting impact. He pushed his players to be the best versions of themselves, both on and off the court, while always making sure basketball remained something they loved and enjoyed.

Allen always made time for questions, took the time to explain and teach, and genuinely invested in helping each player develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the game.

His love of basketball is infectious. Allen was always laughing, smiling and sharing that passion with his teams, and you could see that reflected in the players when they took the court. 🏀

Whether bringing together a brand-new team or helping established players continue to grow, Allen gave his teams confidence, encouraged them to believe in themselves, and taught them what it means to play for each other.

Allen, thank you for the time, knowledge, patience and heart you have given to our players and the Berwick Flames. You have left a positive mark on so many, and you’ll be greatly missed.

🏆🔥 U12 REBELS | UNDEFEATED PREMIERS! 🔥🏆

This Winter Season wasn’t just another season for our U12 Rebels. It was seasons and seasons of hard work, growth and determination finally coming together.

After coming out of a tough Summer Season, these girls entered Winter determined to make it count. They worked hard at training, pushed themselves and each other, and week after week that work started showing on the court.

Then came the dream run... an undefeated season! 🙌🔥

As the weeks went on, the Rebels became faster, stronger, more skilled and increasingly competitive. Most importantly, they became a genuinely united team. They learnt how to play for each other, trust each other and get the job done together.

And then came the Grand Final. 🏆

What a battle! Both teams fought incredibly hard right until the very last buzzer, but our Rebels dug deep when it mattered and finished their incredible season with a 28–21 Grand Final WIN!

A huge thank you to Coach Wes and Assistant Coach Claudius for everything they poured into these girls throughout the season. The time, encouragement, knowledge and belief you gave this team played such an important part in their development and success. ❤️🤍🖤

Undefeated all season. Grand Final winners. PREMIERS. 🏆🔥

For these girls, this one means a little more because of everything it took to get here.

🏀🔥 U12 Dynamite | UNDEFEATED SEASON! 🔥🏀

What an absolutely incredible season from our U12 Dynamite boys! ❤️🤍🖤

Undefeated through the entire regular season and all the way into the Grand Final! 👏🔥 Week after week, these boys kept showing up, getting the job done and finding a way to win. That is a massive achievement and something they should be incredibly proud of!

The Grand Final didn’t quite fall their way, going down by just 5 points in a tough finish. Missing Adam due to illness and with Landon also not feeling 100%, the boys still dug deep and fought right until the final buzzer.

One game certainly doesn’t define this team or take anything away from what they achieved this season.

They played an entire season of winning basketball, grew enormously as a team, backed each other and earned their place on the biggest stage. 🏆

A huge thank you to coach Michael for the time, energy and commitment he has poured into this group. The boys’ development and the season they’ve produced is something to be incredibly proud of.

🏆🌪️ U12 CYCLONES | GRAND FINAL WINNERS! 🌪️🏆

What a season for our U12 Cyclones! ❤️🤍🖤

With half the team making the move up to U12S, there were new teammates, a new coach and a new team name, but it didn’t take long for these boys to come together and play like they’d been teammates for years! 🏀🔥

They embraced every challenge thrown their way and absolutely loved having Allen leading them this season. His passion and love for basketball certainly rubbed off on this group, and their growth as a team has been fantastic to watch.

To finish it all with a well-deserved Grand Final win was the perfect reward for an incredible season! 🏆👏

It was also a fitting farewell for Allen as coach. Thank you for everything you have given this team, Allen. You’ll certainly be missed!

One chapter finishes, but for this group, it feels like they’re only just getting started. We can’t wait to see what next season brings!

What a season it has been for the Opals Under 12s!! 🏆❤️🖤🤍🔥

At the beginning of the season, this group of girls came together as a new team, not knowing just how special their journey would become. From the very first game, they showed determination, teamwork and a love for playing basketball together.

Week after week, the Opals supported one another, encouraged each other through every challenge, celebrated every success, and grew stronger as a team. Their friendships flourished, creating a bond that became the foundation of something truly remarkable.

The result was nothing short of a fairytale. The Opals went undefeated all season, an incredible achievement that reflects their hard work, commitment and team spirit. Even more special, it is the first time any of these girls have reached the finals, making the experience unforgettable for players, families and coaches alike.

While the wins were impressive, what made this team so special was the way they played for each other. They lifted each other up, showed resilience, and proved that success comes from working together as one.

An undefeated season, a finals appearance, and a GRAND FINAL WIN 🏆.

Memories that will last a lifetime. The Opals have shown that when a team believes in each other, anything is possible.

Congratulations, Opals, on an amazing season. You should all be incredibly proud of what you've achieved. This is a story you'll remember for many years to come.
