#4 – Narre Players Making Representative Squads 🏉⭐

One of the proudest moments of the season was seeing so many of our Young Magpies earn opportunities to represent at the next level.

From South East Juniors Interleague to Dandenong Stingrays programs and other representative pathways, our players continued to showcase their talent, commitment and hard work throughout 2026.

While selection in representative football is a fantastic achievement, what made this memory so special was seeing the growth of our players and the confidence they gained from challenging themselves against the best in the region.

To every player who pulled on a representative jumper this season, congratulations. You represented yourselves, your families and the Narre Warren Junior Football Club with pride.

#5 – Community Events 🎉

Football is what brings us together, but it's the moments away from the field that strengthen our club and create lifelong memories.

From the Welcome BBQ, Anzac Day commemorations, and our Kids Disco, to Rock Star Bingo, team functions and everything in between, our community events brought families, players, volunteers and supporters together throughout the season.

These events showcased what makes Narre Warren Junior Football Club special. The friendships, the laughter, the volunteers, and the incredible community spirit that exists both on and off the field.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, organised and supported our events throughout 2026. Your efforts helped make this one of our strongest years yet.

#6 – Indigenous Jumper Release 🖤🤍

One of the standout moments of the year was the unveiling of our brand-new Indigenous jumper.
More than just a football jumper, it was an opportunity for our club to recognise and celebrate Indigenous culture while providing a meaningful connection for players, families and the wider football community.

Seeing our teams proudly wearing the jumper throughout the season created some fantastic memories and reflected the values of inclusion, respect and community that are so important to our club.

⚫⚪ MUMS... WE NEED YOU! ⚪⚫

The annual Yesterdays vs Tomorrows match is back for Presentation Day, and we're looking to make 2026 the year of the Mums Edition! 🏉💪

That's right, we're aiming to get enough mums on the field to form a team of just Mums. The Kids beat the mostly (not all but mostly) Dad’s team so it’s probably time to show them that the Mum’s are better footballers.

And if we do get a team of Mums...
💧 The dads will be officially relegated to water carrier duties! 💧😆

At the moment, we need quite a few more mums to put their hand up and make it happen. Whether you've played footy before or have never kicked a footy in your life, this is all about having fun, creating memories and being part of one of the best traditions on Presentation Day.

This Sunday at 10:00am, our community will come together to support an incredibly important cause as we honour Josh's memory and raise funds for It's Okay, Not To Be Okay. 💙

The support so far has been amazing, but we're still only a little over 20% of the way towards our $10,000 goal, and we need one final push from the Narre community.

🏃‍♂️ Matt and Leith have already had extra kilometres added to their run...
But there's still time to make them suffer a little more! 😅
🎯 Our goal is $10,000 🏃‍♂️ Every $1,000 raised = another kilometre added 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Reach $10,000 and they'll have to run the 10km course TWICE!
