🎬 Season 1: Mascots

It starts today...

For over 50 years, Narre Warren has proudly worn the black and white as the Magpies. But what if history had unfolded just a little differently?

Over the coming weeks, we'll dive into a series of completely fictional "documentary investigations" exploring the mascots that could have been.

Some are believable.

Some are questionable.

And some raise serious concerns about the committee decision-making process of the 1970s and possibly the people running this account. 🤔

Today's premiere episode:

🌊 The Club That Almost Ruled The Ocean

Could Narre Warren have become something very different?

You'll have to tune in to find out.

Disclaimer: This series is entirely fictional, created for a bit of off-season fun, and should not be considered an accurate account of club history... unless it becomes popular enough. 😏

⚫⚪ COMING TOMORROW... ⚪⚫

For years, Narre Warren Junior Football Club social media has focused on facts, results, milestones and achievements...

But what about the stories that almost happened? 🤔

The moments that never were. The legends that could have been. The decisions that may or may not have changed the course of Magpie history forever.

Starting tomorrow, we're launching a brand-new fictional documentary series:

🎬 WHAT IF...?

A light-hearted look at some alternate realities from around the club, where we'll explore the questions nobody asked, but everyone probably should have.

🏉 What if things had gone differently?
🏉 What if a decision changed everything?
🏉 What if history took another path?

Please note:
✅ This series is entirely fictional
✅ It's all in good fun
✅ No Magpies were harmed in the making of these stories
✅ We're hoping the President is on holiday and doesn't see any of it... 😬

Get ready for mystery, intrigue, questionable journalism and some very creative storytelling.

👀 First episode drops tomorrow.

⚫⚪ A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT ⚪⚫

As we close the book on Season 2026, we'd like to share our President's End of Season Review.

It's been a year of growth, resilience and achievement for Narre Warren Junior Football Club.
🏉 9 teams represented the Magpies in 2026
🏉 Player numbers grew from 167 to 186
🏉 A new Under 8 team and Under 12 Girls team were established
🏉 12 players earned Interleague selection
🏉 Our Under 10 Mixed team claimed the SEJ Lightning Premiership
🏉 Our Under 12 Mixed team reached a Grand Final
🏉 Great support from some amazing sponsors

But as our President reflects, the true measure of success isn't found in ladders, wins or premierships.

It's found in the friendships formed, the confidence built, the opportunities created, and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of the Magpie family.

Season 2026 was not without its challenges, but thanks to our players, families, volunteers, coaches, sponsors and committee members, our club continued to grow and thrive.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of 2026 and helped make Narre Warren Junior Football Club a place where young people can play, develop and belong.
