That’s a wrap on our 2026 MiniRoos season! ⚽🏆

What a fantastic day yesterday at the Hewett Clubhouse as our MiniRoos teams streamed through all day for their trophy presentations! 🏆👏

Once the trophies were handed out, it was time to celebrate! 🎉 The inflatables from Jump Easy Castles were going, games were happening, the BBQ was sizzling and coffees from La La Latte Co. kept the adults happy ☕️

Despite a few splashes of rain, it was so good to see our MiniRoos getting out there, having fun and enjoying the final day of the 2026 season with their teammates, families and friends. 💙🟠

A massive thank you to everyone who volunteered throughout the day and helped make the event such a success. We couldn't do it without you! 🙌

A special thank you also goes to the players from our Senior Men's and Women's teams who came along to help hand out trophies and inspire our MiniRoos. ⚽👏

Our Senior Women's players Anika and Skye Taka were a major hit with the younger girls, including a mini excursion to the playground and organising a fun penalty shoot-out! 😂⚽

Seeing our senior players connecting with and inspiring the younger members of our club is always so special. 💙 They are fantastic role models and a great example of what being part of the Sturt Lions family is all about.

Until 2027… have a fantastic summer everyone! ☀️

And for those continuing with off-season training, keep working hard — we can't wait to see the improvements when we’re back next season! 💪⚽

See you in 2027! 🦁💙

And what a season it has been!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible players, coaches, team managers and parents for everything you have contributed throughout the season. ⚽️👏

To our players — thank you for bringing the energy, smiles, determination and plenty of football magic every week. You’ve made us incredibly proud! 🥰

To our coaches and team managers — thank you for giving up your time, taking on the chaos 😂 and making sure our players have had the best possible experience on and off the pitch.

And to our MiniRoos families — thank you for your support, encouragement, sideline cheering, early morning starts and everything you do behind the scenes. 💙

We hope to see many of our families back as Sturt Lions families in 2027 🦁💙

And why not bring a friend (or two!) along with you? There’s always room for more Lions! ⚽️🦁

THANK YOU, LIONS FANS! 🦁🔶🔷

What a weekend of support for our Senior teams! 👏

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out across the weekend to get behind our players. Your support from the sidelines makes such a difference!

And a very special shout-out to everyone who joined us on Sunday in the glorious sunshine ☀️ to cheer on our Senior Women as they delivered an incredible 13–0 win over South Adelaide! 🔥

What a statement — and what a way to seal the deal as State League Champions! 🏆 Congratulations to our players, coaches and everyone behind the scenes who has helped make this season so special.

We also loved seeing some ofj our U12 YSL girls arrive with their banners to support Anika and Skye! 🥰⚽️

Anika and Skye are not only key members of our Senior Women’s team, but they also give their time back to the club by coaching and investing in our U12 YSL girls.

That connection between our Senior players and our MiniRoos and Juniors is so important. Seeing our younger players look up to, support and learn from our Senior players is something that has a massive impact across our club.

So, to all of our Senior players who have given their time back to the club this season — THANK YOU! 🧡💙

You’re not just playing for the Lions… you’re helping shape the next generation of Lions. 🦁
