To our coaches and team managers — thank you for giving up your time, taking on the chaos 😂 and making sure our players have had the best possible experience on and off the pitch.

And to our MiniRoos families — thank you for your support, encouragement, sideline cheering, early morning starts and everything you do behind the scenes. 💙

We hope to see many of our families back as Sturt Lions families in 2027 🦁💙

🦁 JUNIOR TRIAL REGISTRATIONS OPEN TOMORROW! ⚽️

Registration for all Sturt Lions Junior trials opens at 9am tomorrow, Friday 21st August 2026.

This applies to all YCC, YPL and YSL teams.

📌 Registration is compulsory for all trials and must be completed by the relevant cutoff date listed on the individual trial event.

What a weekend of support for our Senior teams! 👏

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out across the weekend to get behind our players. Your support from the sidelines makes such a difference!

And a very special shout-out to everyone who joined us on Sunday in the glorious sunshine ☀️ to cheer on our Senior Women as they delivered an incredible 13–0 win over South Adelaide! 🔥

What a statement — and what a way to seal the deal as State League Champions! 🏆 Congratulations to our players, coaches and everyone behind the scenes who has helped make this season so special.

We also loved seeing some ofj our U12 YSL girls arrive with their banners to support Anika and Skye! 🥰⚽️

Anika and Skye are not only key members of our Senior Women’s team, but they also give their time back to the club by coaching and investing in our U12 YSL girls.

That connection between our Senior players and our MiniRoos and Juniors is so important. Seeing our younger players look up to, support and learn from our Senior players is something that has a massive impact across our club.

So, to all of our Senior players who have given their time back to the club this season — THANK YOU! 🧡💙

We’re looking for coaches who are passionate about developing young players, creating positive environments and helping players enjoy their football and reach their potential.

It’s presentation day… but we’re making a FULL DAY OF IT! 🎉🙌

Our MiniRoos Presentation Carnival is open all day from 9am–3pm, with team presentations happening throughout the day. So there’s no need to rush in, grab your presentation and head home — bring the whole family, set up for the day and enjoy the carnival atmosphere with your team! 🧡
