City Ford Bondi Blue Water Challenge 2026

On Sunday 3 May, blue skies and warm water greeted hundreds of swimmers and runners in the Bondi Blue Water 2026, proudly supported by City Ford Sydney

A highlight of the day was witnessing the multiple strong swims from local sisters Mia and Emerson Hoo from North Bondi SLSC

They shared the titles in all three women’s events, including a 1-2 finish in the 1km. Unbeatable.

Bondi Shines in the Pool!

Seven Bondi athletes competed at the NSW Pool Rescue Championships 2026 last weekend at Cranbrook School.

Under Captain Mostyn Sumner, the team performed brilliantly, bringing home a swag of medals and strong placings across the age groups.

Special mention to Alex and Seb who were competing in their first Pool Rescue event.

🏆 Back-of-the-envelope calcs have us securing the Masters pointscore trophy over strong teams from Terrigal and Port Macquarie @, but we will await the official announcement before celebrating 🍾

Today some of our Bondi competitors attended the SLS Sydney Branch Pool Rescue Championships.
It was the first time in 15 years Surf Life Saving Sydney has run this event — and it did not disappoint. A great morning, the sun shining, strong officiating, and clubs coming together with teamwork to create a fantastic event.

A huge shout-out to Amy O’Brien and Annabelle Paterson for their excellent performance in the Open Female Double Ski Final yesterday.

The girls took on the best in the business and walked away with a Top 10 finish in the Double Ski. To make an Open final at this level is a massive feat; to finish in the top 10 is legendary.

Congratulations on another incredible Aussies campaign, girls! 💙🤍🇳🇿🇮🇪

THE DRY SPELL IS OVER. 🔨

For years, the Bondi Surf Boats gathered dust - until the legend Phil Stivano got his hands on it. One year of blood, sweat, and winter sessions. 6 crews forged into one tight-knit unit.

We didn’t just show up to the 2026 Aussies to make up the numbers; we came to let everyone know Bondi Boaties are BACK! The roar is back in the arena. Buckle up.

Day 2 of Masters at Aussies was an absolute battle. With a brutal sweep north testing every craft, the Bondi spirit stayed level.

🔵 Sand results: 4 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze and absolute dominance in the 2km, and a Silver in flags for Jamey E
⚪️ Water highlights: Massive grit from Simon Jackson and Joel in the 110 years Taplin for a Silver finish. 🥈

Despite the cancellations in the female program, everyone who hit the water today gave it a red-hot crack in the swell.

The trailer is loaded and the celebrations have officially begun. Cheers to a massive Masters campaign! 🍻
