As we say our goodbyes at the international airport and I cry like a little baby, we all hope you have the most amazing time ever and show the USA what AUS is all about!!! Sam Shaw is making big moves on the basketball court! Fresh off winning the U16 Boys Shield State Championship 2025 at Basketball Tasmania State Championships with Glenorchy Basketball Association.

Sam has been selected to represent Australia on the AUSA Tour in July 2026.

We couldn’t be prouder of his dedication, talent, and vision for the future.

To help turn this dream into reality, Sam is currently raising funds to cover the cost of this incredible opportunity, which includes training camps, travel, accommodation and tournament exposure in the USA. The cost for this is $9,450 which does NOT include the Flights or Lunch and Dinners.

This is a huge opportunity for Sam to showcase his basketball talent on an international stage, with the goal of securing a college scholarship in the US.
