Our Rockdale and Southern Districts girls joined forces as a Barbarians team to take on the NSW PSSA primary school girls in Rugby 7s! 🏉

You should all be so proud. You went head 2 head with some of the best young players in the state & gave the NSW PSSA team a real crack and played your hearts out in the cold and rain. We are so proud of every one of you! 💪🏽

A big congratulations to Teisa Fakasiieiki, our Junior Girl of the Year for 2026! 🏆

Teisa is a strong team player who holds her own on the field. She shows skill beyond her years - it’s hard to believe she’s only 11!

This year she represented Southern Districts at the State Championships in Mudgee and at the Girls Gala in Narrabeen.

Congratulations Teisa! 👏

Canberra 7’s 2026

Our annual club trip to Canberra was a weekend to remember! This year, Rockdale fielded six teams: U10, U11, U12, U13 Girls, and two U14 Boys teams.

For some players, it’s a trip they’ve made for years; for others, it was their first time. It gave everyone the chance to play teams we don’t normally face, build friendships and share the experience as a club.

🏉 U10 – Semi finalists
🏉 U11 – Grand finalists
🏉 U12 – Grand finalists
🏆 U13 Girls – Winners
🏉 U14 Boys White – Grand finalists
🏆 U14 Boys Blue – Winners

We’re so proud of every team and of the way our families came together to fundraise for this trip. A massive thank you to our club sponsors, whose support helps us subsidise the trip for families and make weekends like this possible.

What a weekend Rockdale! Thank you Uni Norths Owls Junior Rugby ❤️

2026 PLAYER OF THE YEAR – AJ MALIFA

A huge congratulations to AJ Malifa our 2026 Player of the Year!

AJ continues to show what a talented young rugby player he is. He represented Southern Districts at the State Championships, before earning selection in the U14 Sydney team to compete at the Regional Championships. An incredible achievement and a reflection of his hard work, skill and dedication.

A very deserving recipient of our 2026 Player of the Year award.

Congratulations AJ! 👏
