Wow, Auckland, you have taken my breath away. 🇳🇿
The Land of the Long White Cloud ☁️
With so many new and newly refurbished hotels, Auckland is definitely a destination that should be on your radar.
Of course, I made it my mission to see as many venues as possible and here are just a few of my standouts.
JW Marriott Auckland
The renovation is truly stunning. Moss flown in from France 🇫🇷 cascading in the lobby, state of the art audio visual upgrades in the conference rooms and the accommodation rooms make you feel like you’re floating on a cloud, with soft lighting beneath the bed. Then there are the Italian marble bathrooms… oh the list goes on!
Four Points by Sheraton Auckland
This has to be one of the best Four Points properties I have ever seen. I love the daily guest activations! you can tell there is so much heart in this hotel. And the rooftop bar, Churchill, is an absolute must! with incredible views over Sky Tower and the Auckland skyline.
Grand Millennium Auckland My host hotel… wow.
This hotel has also undergone a renovation, and it is absolutely stunning 5 star property. The bedrooms are sheer opulence - the size of these rooms and the beds are to dream of.
I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in my life time and this property delivered one of the best turndown service I have ever experienced. Not only do they turn your bed down with a lovely little chocolate, but they also placed a foot mat beside the bed, along with slippers and robe, ready for you to relax and unwind. Such a simple idea, which makes so much sense. I’ve been telling everyone I know about it. Well done team! 👏 ingenious!
Crowne Plaza Auckland, voco Auckland City Centre, Hotel Indigo Auckland and InterContinental Auckland
Wow, wow, wow. These properties are either brand new, only a year old, or currently undergoing a major refurbishment. All just stunning.
QT Hotels and Resorts Auckland
Rich in art and design, just as you would expect from a QT property. Another fantastic addition to Auckland, with beautifully designed guest rooms that pay homage to the city’s waterfront.
Trying to keep this post to a small word limit and not a novel, but these are just some of the incredible hotels Auckland has to offer.
