Breaking Things Down: Coming Into Contact
This drill focuses on:
• Footwork – same foot, same shoulder into contact.
• Closing the space – close the distance between defenders before making contact to win the collision.
• Dual contact - both defenders hitting at the some time.

A proud Pittsworth Danes junior, Ella was named the 2025 TRL Young Filly of the Year before signing with the Cronulla Sharks, where she helped her Tarsha Gale side reach the Grand Final.
