A little late but still just as happy. Back in November last year, I finished the season taking home the Junior Light Endurance Championship, Cadet Sprint Championship, and Club Best & Fairest for Auskart Racing. What an incredible year.
I have started this season racing in Juniors and am still getting used to racing in a new category, new kart and new engine. I'm looking forward seeing how I can improve and what I can achieve this year.

I recently competed in my last 2 race meets of the year at Bundaberg Kart Club and Warwick Kart Club for the SEQ Championship. I had some pretty close battles out on the track over the weekend but managed to end each one on top.

I also competed in the last round of the Auskart endurance series while in Bundy, but we had a whole host of problems! My usual teammate Kai couldn't make it for the weekend, so we organised for someone to join me in his place, who then unfortunately crashed out in the sprint race and was out with an injured elbow. Thankfully Pheonix offered to step in and join me in his place and did a great job. We then however had the misfortune of mechanical issues out on track, meaning we had 2 extra 3 minute mechanical stops that put us out of contention for the race. But we had fun anyway!

It's been a great season of racing and my last one in Cadets. I'm excited to move up and join the Juniors next year in 2025.

Big shout out to my sponsor , I might not wear diamonds, but thanks to your support, I have managed to acquire a pretty nice selection of shiny trophies this season!

This weekend was the final round of the City-Country series and the 4SS Qld State Titles. I had some great battles on track throughout the heats this weekend, but the final was where it counted. I started the race in P2, but I had a bad start and was pushed off the track on the first corner, losing 3 places. I got back up to P3, but the front runners had managed to get a significant gap by that stage, and I was unable to catch up.

So I ended the weekend with a 3rd in State and 2nd in the City-Country Championship.

Thanks again to for all their support this season - just a few more races to go!

Well, visiting the US did not go how I had hoped and I seemed to be an absolute magnet for bad luck over there. I'm back on Aussie soil now and so happy to be back home! My doctor checked out my leg, and now that the swelling has gone down, it was easy to see I just had some bad bruising, and thankfully, there was no further damage.
So the splint is off, and the race boots are on, and I'm back in my own kart again racing the QLD Sate Titles this weekend 🤙

Dad stayed up all night and stripped and prepped and fixed my kart, but unfortunately, there was no way to fix my injuries in the same time frame.

I woke up this morning feeling a bit tender, but it was during the first practice lap, I realised I had done some serious damage to my ribs, and the pain was too intense to go on. I tried adding extra padding and taking painkillers before the 2nd Heat, but within a few meters, I knew that it was all over.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Only other racers will know the misery that comes with being unable to complete a race, especially one that required so much to get here and take part in. I just wish it didn't have to end like this, but that's racing.

Thanks so much to everyone who has supported me and helped me get here. And thank you for all the kind and encouraging words from back home, it's meant a lot.
