MAINTENANCE & SWEEPER CREW //
Behind every beautiful open space is a team putting in the hard work to keep it looking its best long after construction is complete.
Interface Landscapes' Maintenance and Sweeper crews take enormous pride in maintaining parks, streetscapes and open spaces to an exceptional standard for our clients and the local community to enjoy. These photos from the newly opened park at Flourish Estate speak for themselves - attention to detail, presentation and genuine care for the finished product. ✨
From perfectly presented gardens and immaculate edging through to spotless hard surfaces and clean public spaces, these crews consistently go the extra mile to deliver The Point of Difference.
A huge thank you to all of our Maintenance and Sweeper crews for the pride, effort and consistency you bring to every project, every day. 👏

THE WEEK THAT WAS
What a week! We’re thrilled to see the completion of Flourish Stage 8A Park and it’s looking nothing short of spectacular ahead of the official opening tomorrow 🌱 This is project delivery at its finest — a huge effort by Foreman Dan and his crew, who should be incredibly proud of what they’ve delivered for the community 👏
Both parks at Flagstone are nearing completion, with only around a week to go at 4M Park as the crews push toward the finish line, while works continue progressing well across multiple stages at Botanica 👌
On the North side we have another quality finish achieved by Hayden and the crew at John Street, delivering neat basin and streetscape works. Pierre's North Harbour team continue to make solid progress despite a wet couple of days 🌧️
Another massive effort across the board from the team.

FLOURISH STAGE 8A LOCAL PARK // South Maclean
One of the most fun elements within this park has to be the Double Mouse Wheel! Featuring twin drums to tumble and spin, crawl and explore through, this playful piece adds another layer of adventure and imagination to the playground experience. 🐭🛝 It is awesome playground feature that encourages movement, creativity and plenty of laughter. 🤸♂️✨
We also couldn’t resist capturing this fantastic close-up perspective through the opening, framing the park beyond and showing off just how vibrant and visually exciting this space truly is. 🌿☀️
Such a fun addition to an incredible community park!

THE WEEK THAT WAS!
It’s been a hive of activity across the board this week, with crews fully in the swing of multiple park projects and continuing to make great progress each week 👊
We’re getting to the pointy end at Flourish Stage 8A Park, with the opening only a few weeks away. It’s shaping up to be an absolute winner for the local community. Foreman Dan and his team have plenty to be proud of - delivering such an exceptional space 🌱🤸
Installation of shade sails was a highlight at Flagstone 4M Park this week - things are really starting to take shape, with plenty more to come for Glenn and the crew.
Basin works were also underway at Elmwood and John Street, alongside streetscape works progressing at Botanica, Francis Road and Rosebank. 🌳
With the BOM predicting rain over the weekend we’ve got our fingers and toes crossed that all the turf and plants out there get a much needed soak 🌧️
Another big week for the team and a well deserved weekend break.
THE WEEK THAT WAS!
A shorter week after the Easter long weekend, and the SEQ heat and humidity still think it’s mid-summer ☀️
Plenty of activity across the board, with highlights including installation of feature signage at Arcadia, commencement of detailing works at Flourish Park, court painting and rubber install at Flagstone 4M.
Playground installation continues at Flagstone 4N, while basin works reached completion at Riverbank Stage 22 and Vantage Stage 1 👌
Shout out to our HSEQ Manager, Jay, for leading the business through another successful re-certification audit of our Management Systems - a big task and one we really appreciate 👏✅
We wrapped up the week with all Foremen in the office for our monthly meeting - lots of good discussions and plenty of new ideas in the mix 💡
THE WEEK THAT WAS!
Great to see turf and planting installation pushing ahead at Flourish Stage 8A Park, as Dan and the crew continue bringing the space to life 🌱
It’s all hands on deck at North Harbour, with works across multiple stages and some big inroads being made by Pierre and team at Stage 3 Park 👊
As expected, we are powering along on our other park projects, along with ongoing streetscape, basin and fencing works progressing well.
Back at IFL HQ, it was a busy one - First Aid & CPR refreshers underway, and we were stokedhave 3 more employees sign on for apprenticeships 👏
THE WEEK THAT WAS!
A big milestone this week with our new Sweeper Crew officially in action! Led by Nick, this crew is fully equipped and operating out of their own truck, completing off-maintenance works, assisting our maintenance teams, and tackling those smaller jobs that make a big difference. Their attention to detail is second to none, and they’re a valuable addition that really strengthens what we deliver across the board.
Over at Flourish Park, we’ve seen some great visual progress, with the playground installation powering along. It’s always exciting when these spaces start to come to life. 🛝🌿
At Flagstone, it’s been great to see Zach in his element, getting stuck into the early stages of playground installation - plenty more to come there. 💪
Across the business, we’ve continued to work through lots of different projects with several reaching Practical Completion. A strong sign of the momentum we’re carrying right now.
All in all, a big week all round. Great work from all our teams - in the office and on-site. 🙌
TEAM BBQ RECAP //
We wrapped up the week with an early finish on site and a company-wide BBQ at our Darra office, bringing together the whole crew from Interface Landscapes and Interface Equip. ✨️
We love getting everyone together at least once a quarter. It's a great chance to catch up with old friends, meet new colleagues, and celebrate the people that make our business what it is. 👷♂️🙌
During the afternoon we also announced our February Employee of the Month. Congratulations to all 12 nominees, and a big shoutout to the winner Jai - well deserved! 👏
We were also proud to announce two internal promotions - Jai promoted to Leading Hand and Hayden promoted to Junior Project Foreman. It’s always great to see our team members growing within the business - congrats to both of you.
We wrapped the afternoon up with a fabulous lunch. Thanks to Morgan and Lachlan for stepping up and running the BBQ.
A great way to finish another busy week. We’ll be back to our regular project updates next week!
