No one warned me coaching would feel like this.
I thought it would be about helping a client hit her goals.
But the emotional part?
That is watching her start to believe in herself again.
Watching her realise she is capable.
Watching her stop doubting every step.
Watching her see that transformation is possible when she decides she is worth the effort.
That is the part that gets me every time.
Because coaching is not just about the goal.
It is about the woman she becomes on the way there.

You are not brokenđź’ž You're a mum who has been last on her own list for way too long. Mindset without your body is 1/2 the story. That's the difference. I cried.

I’m Jody. I’m a wife, mother of 3, certified Results Coach and Senior Teacher with nearly 15 years in education. My own experiences as mother, conversations with mum friends and observations as a teacher have led me here to connect with you. My story started 10 years ago when I beca
Why does your brain never get to clock off?
Because the mental load of motherhood is not just the visible jobs.
It is remembering the appointments.
The school notes.
The lunches.
The washing.
The emotions.
The tiny details no one else seems to notice.
And even when you are carrying all of that, you still somehow feel like you are failing.
But that is not a character flaw.
That is mental load asking for real support.
Comment LOAD if your brain feels full đź’—
Why do so many mums wait until breaking point before they ask for support?
Why?
You keep holding it together when you are clearly not okay.
You push through the stress.
You ignore the burnout.
You tell yourself you are fine.
You keep carrying the emotional load like it is just part of being a mum.
But you know that is not strength.
That is survival dressed up as coping.
And you are allowed to get support before you fall apart.

You doom-scrolled again and now your real life feels like it is not enough.
That is what social media does to mums.
It makes real motherhood look wrong.
Too messy.
Too loud.
Too ordinary.
Too human.
But your kids do not need a perfect mum.
They do not need polished.
They do not need performative.
They need a real mum.
A present mum.
A woman who is honest, grounded, and not pretending her life is a highlight reel.
If doom scrolling has been making you question yourself, let this be your reminder.
Real life is still enough.
You are still enough.
Save this before you spiral again.

The danger of motherhood no one talks about is how easy it is to lose yourself in motherhood.
Not all at once.
Slowly.
Quietly.
In the everyday moments where everyone needs you, and you keep putting yourself last.
Then one day you realise you know what everyone else needs, but you do not know what you need anymore.
If you feel lost in motherhood, overwhelmed, burnt out, or disconnected from yourself, you are not failing.
This identity shift is real.
But you are still in there.
You can find yourself again.
Save this if you miss her.

When are you going to stop saying you’re fine?
Because “I’m fine” can become the mask mums wear when falling apart feels inconvenient.
You keep showing up.
Keep smiling.
Keep handling things.
Keep being the strong one.
But strong does not mean silent.
And coping does not mean you are okay.
Sometimes emotional strength starts with telling the truth.
You are tired.
You need support.
You need somewhere safe to land.
Save this if you need softness today đź’—
Mum, if your head has been hurting more lately, it might not be random.
Stress does not just sit in your thoughts.
It shows up in your body too.
When your mind never gets a real break, your body starts carrying the pressure.
That is when even small things can feel too much.
This is your reminder that you are not weak.
You are overloaded.
If this hits, comment RELIEF.

You do not wake up wanting to be snappy.
But when you have been holding it together for everyone, with no real space to breathe, your patience gets thin.
Then a small thing happens.
A noise.
A question.
A mess.
And suddenly you are reacting bigger than you want to.
Not because you are a bad mum.
Because you are running on too little calm.
This is what happens when your system stays on edge for too long.
If this hits, comment CALM.
More support is in my bio.
Some mums look calm on the outside
while carrying far more than anyone can see.
They are still showing up.
Still getting things done.
Still smiling.
Still holding the day together.
But looking okay is not the same as feeling okay.
A calm face does not always mean a calm mind.
Sometimes it just means she has become very good at holding it all in.
If this feels like you, you are not weak.
You are carrying too much for too long.
You can look like you are coping and still be one small thing away from your limit.
That is the part people do not always see.
The outside says you are managing.
The inside says you are tired, stretched, and holding too much.
This is what overwhelm can look like in mums.
Still functioning.
Still showing up.
Still getting things done.
But feeling close to the edge.
If this is you, you do not need more shame.
You need support.
Comment EDGE if this is you.
