Kohler Kid has delivered an outstanding performance in the GREAT NORTHERN CAPRICORNIA YEARLING SALE QTIS 3&4YO CLASSIC HANDICAP (1300m) in Rockhampton with Justin Stanley producing a patient, perfectly timed ride to surge clear and put the race beyond doubt.

Congratulations to the owners, Elly Beak, Jesse Beak and Valda Beak. This win is made even more special with Elly and Jesse also breeding Kohler Kid, and an incredible full circle moment as Elly won this very race five years ago as a jockey on Natural Emperor, trained by her brother Tom Smith. 👏
It is also fantastic to see Justin Stanley back in the saddle with a feature win after nine months on the sideline. 🙌

Cressbrook returned in terrific order, saluting first up at Dalby today.

Settling into a lovely rhythm early under Tiffani Brooker, he travelled strongly throughout and let down well when it mattered, showing a sharp turn of foot. It was a professional performance and a pleasing way to kick off his preparation.

Congratulations to his owners and the entire team, a strong first-up win that gives us plenty to look forward to as he builds through the prep.
