I haven't posted much on here so here is an update.

Added some parts to the R3 to make it a little more comfy and safer to ride.

Rearsets, clip ons, Frando master cylinder, race pads, braided lines front and rear and removed all the abs gear.

Slicks on next and then ready for its first ride at Morgan Park Raceway in early February.

What a year! My first year of competitive racing ended with me winning the inaugural series!!! πŸ†To say I'm happy is an understatement. I jumped on my first bike in mid 2023 and have not looked back!

6 rounds between and raceway starting in March and ending in November.

25 races all up.

For the season I placed:

1st x 11
2nd x 10
3rd x 2
DNF x 2

The championship was so close .p433 and I finished the season on exactly the same points. On a count back of race results I just nudged ahead with a couple more wins. Thanks for a great year of battles .p433 !

I can't thank enough for the time he spent with us during the season. I would not have improved as much as I did without his guidance. To take me from 1:46's at Morgan Park down to 1:39's in the space of 3 race meets is a credit to his understanding and knowledge of racing. Thanks Ash, I'll be forever grateful.

, you put on a great series for us all. Nothing was ever too much trouble and your knowledge of race weekends made us all feel very comfortable from day 1.

thank you for keeping our bikes in top condition for the entire season. Sorry for giving you more work to do 🀣

Thanks to all the other coaches and people on the sides that helped along the way, , .p43 you guys rock!

And lastly, , thank you for keeping us all safe and protected all season. I wouldn't want to be racing in any other gear that's for sure!

Great weekend of racing at Morgan Park Raceway with QLD Junior Cup.

Everyone should be super proud of their efforts, including myself. While I didn't have anyone to battle, I enjoyed challenging myself, trying to better my lap times each race.

QUALIFYING:
1st: Lucas with a 1:40.394
2nd: Ethan with a 1:46.433
3rd: Alvin with a 1:46.557
4th: Kael with a 1:48.692
5th: Thomas with a 1:49.461
6th: Owen with a 1:50.196

QUICKEST RACE LAPS
1st: Lucas with a 1:41.213
2nd: Ethan with a 1:43.626
3rd: Alvin with a 1:44.046
4th: Tomas with a 1:45.196
5th: Kael with a 1:45.827
6th Owen with a 1:49.362

The battles behind me sounded like they were lots of fun and I hope the riders had an awesome time learning how to maintain or gain positions. Sounded like there was a lot of excitement back there!

I hit a bump in the track at turn 12 and lost the front end in race 4. My first crash of the series. Thankfully I was able to walk away and come back for the last race of the event. In the last race I took it nice and easy as I just wanted to bring it home safely.

WEEKEND RESULTS:

Race 1 - 6 laps = 1st with a 30.273 winning margin
Race 2 - 5 laps = 1st with a 21.400 winning margin
Race 3 - 5 laps = 1st with a 21.290 winning margin
Race 4 - 5 laps = DNF - lost the front end at turn 12
Race 5 - 5 laps = 1st with a 7.971 winning margin

Overall result for the round = 2ND.

Congrats to Ethan Pelgrave for taking the round win
