Pause. Breathe. Let the game slow down.
This one goes out to our pitchers. Composure on the mound is an incredible life skill. A moment in time - completely in control.

This National Reconciliation Week, Baseball Queensland stands with the theme: All In.
Reconciliation is not a spectator sport. It calls on all of us to step off the sidelines and take meaningful action toward a more inclusive and respectful future.
We recognise and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which we live, work and play.
We acknowledge the Jagera and Turrbal peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Meanjin, where our office is located, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
We also acknowledge the Traditional owners of the lands across our state on which our game is played.
As a sport built on teamwork and community, we believe baseball has the power to bring people together, strengthen connections and create opportunities for all.
This week — and every week — we remain committed to listening, learning and taking action through our reconciliation journey.

We are so thankful to Pine Hills for making this effort to get the field up and running. We are so grateful to Windsor and Redcliffe baseball communities for assembling a crew and working on getting these games up and running.
The 2:00PM start time is just an estimate. We will work as hard as we can to make sure this happens, but may move. Stay tuned to the comments here for updated times.

Please be patient as we set this up. has made the drive to Redcliffe for IL Gold and has kindly moved some things to get there for Junior League to capture the day.
Thank you to the entire baseball community in Queensland and Northern NSW for spending hours yesterday and today displaying a tremendous effort to get a field up and ready for the kids to play.
Thank you tournament officials for your efforts today. They are appreciated by the kids especially.

WOW! 😱 This was the definition of a thriller! 🏆
Gold Coast are on to the Preliminary Final after surviving a dramatic 5-3 victory over Cronulla Black in one of the games of the tournament.
The game built to an incredible crescendo in the sixth inning.
Trailing 3-1, Tyler Tyler Rixon a homer for Cronulla and Ash Garnero ripped a game-tying RBI double moments later.
Then, tied at 3 with TWO OUTS in the bottom half of the sixth Aidan Heschl delivered the go-ahead hit for Gold Coast. All of a sudden it was 5-3
Then, with rain streaming down, Kahu Bishop closed the door in relief
By the way, Luku Masuda struck out seven across 6.2 innings of solid work for Gold Coast.
Gold Coast now advance to the Preliminary Final against Southern Titans, with a place in the Gold Medal Game on the line. Watch live on Baseball+ as soon as this rain clears away.
