Found a broken fuel fitting during engine starts. Came back in and bought parts to make new line. Got back out for engine warm ups. Cheering. Thanks crew. Starting rear of field but happy days we are racing. Ohh yeh bro!
First heat and throttle stuck on and spun on first corner twice. Ahhhh.

Next race is carina Speedway @ Bundaberg on 2nd and 3rd of May!
After giving the wall a hard whack at Gladstone myself n crew decided it’d be better to pull the car down and get the chassis fixed rather than potentially end up with other issues. So Saturday afternoon n night we stripped it down ready for BHR fabrications to straighten the J&J chassis up. So stoked for my crew mates Andrew Sparks and Anthony Joyce for giving up there Saturday to get the job done! Will be a mission to get ready for Bundy but we do love a challenge!

Australian title was a hit. Loads of fun and a bit of hard work made the weekend epic. Great racing and feature last night. Unfortunimatly I didn’t make the main race due to mechanical issues but I had a good crack at the 25 lap B main feature race. I found my feet after hooking in behind the race leader and following his line. Mates were saying no one could pass me for a few laps. The car was on song screaming its head off. Good feels. Getting pumped for the Biggest 2 weekends of the 25/26 Season apon us. QLD and Australian 360/LS titles on the cards. Get your backhide trackside at Toowoomba Speedway. Getting work done preparing the car for saturday night. More than 30 cars have nominated. Got to get my mongrel on and go to battle.

NSW 360/LS Sprintcar title was a hit @ . Was a privilag to be flag bearer for Australian Anthem.
Stoked to have my mother n law Lynn, neice Evie n nephew Mitchell, lucky Lance n Vivian Kelly cheering me on in the croud.
Poor start after rear end hit wall in first lap in hotlaps but crew James Matthew’s and Killian Bourdiec hooked in hard and changed the Jacob’s ladder on the infield, you guys are the real champions keeping the car rocking, cheers. Time trials must have gone ok as I was mid pack for heat 1. Got chopped by Bateman on start for heat 1 & 2 (nice work mate) but happy days as I finished with straight car. James “didn’t” haha make any changes for heat two or 35 lap feature but the car drove on point! Started feature position 12th ROF but much to my surprise I finished 5th well almost, battery died n car stopped rolling 20m before finish line. Happy days what a cracking weekend. Yew!

Throwback to April 2024. This is what happens post 360/LS Sprintcar tripple somersaults. Sucks it happened but it was enjoyable stripping the car back to chassis and rebuilding it after repairs were done with Sienna, Tom Walther and Andrew Sparks. Bought back my love of being back on the mechanical tools again.

Great trick photography. I bet this was a good laugh for spectators seeing a front wheel pop up and bolt down the straight. Thought it was quite funny myself also. Spindle stub axle snapped like a twig. Have since been told to replace yearly so yeh it’s in the diary.

Adrenalin pumping hard Awesome weekend kicking improvement goals at toowoomba speedway with our hook in crew and daughter Sienna for her solo without mum maiden voyage ❤️.
Kicking off at Friday night practice going alternate sessions with crew Chief Boss 💪 Andrew Sparks behind the wheel. Cracking drive from him in the slick @ 13 seconds! He beat me rrrrr haha. Ive still a lot to learn 2 years in of my 5 year LS/360 sprintcar apprenticeship.
I smashed down my juiced up track laptime to 12.394 seconds. Thats a huge leap and win for me.
Loaded up n left track 11pm n hit the rough, hilly n windy roads in truck to Andrews country block for a kip, bacon and eggs breaky and fun on his pit bikes n off road buggy. Mehmet was loving being on 2 wheels in the dirt as was Andrews 2 year old Arlo riding up front with him and Sienna driving the buggy with me puckering next to her haha. She learnt quick n drove well.
Then fast trip up the range back to track. Positioned 5th from 18 in time trials, lost ground on slick heat 1. Heat 2 hit wall turn 4 after not riding brakes FR wheel went pacing down the track was a good laugh for myself n spectators I’m guessing. The fast Crew hooked in and got car back in shape for feature. Determined for them and points I drove low with caution finishing 10th from 15. Overall finished 8th from 16 drivers. Sensational experience all round.
