Our Story

Brisbane dance teacher, Jackie Meaney established JSDance when she saw a need for a boutique studio ensuring quality training but a focus on enjoyment and balanced approach to dance in students’ lives. Now under the direction of past student and employee, Joanne Horner, JSDance continues with these solid philosophies.

You are invited to come and see the difference. At JSDance we are about so much more than dance. We aspire to make all dancers feel welcome, not just the elite and we create a space where the students can build friendships that last a lifetime. We are a non competition studio which is very attractive to busy families, but that doesn’t mean we don’t still offer high quality training with examinations and performance opportunities. JSDance has been operating in the same location for over 23 years which demonstrates stability and commitment in a competitive industry. All staff are carefully selected to ensure they contribute to the positive values and policies that we work hard to deliver.
