The Great Hall; the Great Wedding
Anika and Toby were married yesterday in The Great Hall at Brisbane Grammar School. This magnificent Church was packed with about 200 guests and looked resplendent with beautiful bouquets of flowers at the end of pews and giant ones aside the bride and groom. They are an amazing couple – vibrant, positive, kind, talented and their heartfelt vows touched all present. It was truly a Great Hall of joy; the excitement and genuine warmth present was palpable.

The Wedding of Craig and Editha
Their home was so beautifully decorated for their wedding last Saturday. It was obvious how happy they were together and how much they appreciate and value each other. They first met when Juliette, who was working with Craig at the time, asked him if he would like to meet a lady she knew
Craig asked if she was beautiful and a hard worker. Juliette replied absolutely to both questions. There first face to face meeting was nearly their last. In a skype video link between Brisbane and Dubai (where Editha was working at the time) Craig was was slightly overwhelmed when Editha appeared on the screen surrounded by about ten friends. They have leapt ever hurdle in their journey together with resilience and determination; this is a clear indiction of their love and dedication toward each other

The Wedding of Donna and Andrew
The music of ACDC reverberated at the end of the ceremony as they were pronounced ACDC that is Andrew and Donna Cameron. Two gifted and beautiful people. Congratulations! :) :)

Ellie and Eric - A Wedding for the Ages
The ceremony began with Ellie (a rock star herself) serenading Eric with a beautiful rendition of "Let's Stay Together"; Eric was obviously moved and responded with a song in his heart. Eric (who is French) had friends travel from France to be at the wedding. Other guests travelled from across Australia to be there. There was such a happy and heartfelt atmosphere as the amazing Ellie and Eric are much loved by all. The most special of guests was Rocco their loved baby son. Wishing you a lifetime of joy and laughter together! :) :) xx

Tender Moments - the wedding of Jackie and Feng this week at Byron Bay. So moving; their care and love for each other is clearly shown in these photos. Their families came from China to celebrate at this beautiful venue Elements of Byron :)

All weddings are special; this one particularly so for me. Sam and I knew each other ten years ago where he was a student and I a teacher at St Peters Lutheran College. Always knew him as a humorous, engaging individual with a real presence. Having met Becky I can see she has similar traits (and is stunning). The venue was special as the rooftop garden belonged to Sam's parents. Over 100 wonderful family and friends celebrated the occasion with such joy. (I don't think I've every heard such long and thunderous applause when they were introduced as "Mr and Mrs Manfield"!) :)

Melinda Schaffer and Blake Wilson were married at Siromet Winery yesterday. There was thunder and lightning as the bridal party entered. The heavens opened when the wedding began and the 65 guests were covered well by the large Siromet gazebo. During the vows the thunder was so loud - obviously clapping for the couple! The hammering rain on the tin roof added to the magic atmosphere of the day. Blake and Melinda are certainly a warm and gifted couple and there was an aura of joy about this very special of occasions. Congratulations and best wishes :)

Peter and Li - Intimate Park Wedding
Today in the beautiful Park across from my office - Peter Winton and Li Tang were married. The wedding was witnessed by some lovely guests. Peter is such a humorous soul and Li radiates a real spirit of joy.Congrats and best wishes to this special couple :)
