Had to jump on this nostalgia trip, but make it 00’s Edition.

00’s Lacey wore far too much bronzer, plucked her eyebrows way too thin, chopped her bangs a little too blunt, and partied just a tad too hard.

But she was fun, a little wild, and didn’t care about being blinded by a camera flash for a bathroom selfie in da club. It was a time.

Tell me you survived the 2000’s without telling me 😎

and my physical strength hasn’t fully returned…
but my ability to recite Disney movies word-for-word?
Elite. Unmatched. Olympic level. 🏅✨

We all grow in different ways. Mine just happens to be… theatrical. 😂

First post in 2 months; let’s do a mid-year check-in.
Not a highlight reel — a truth-telling.
In a nutshell: I’m rebuilding. I’m regulating.
And I’m learning that loving others doesn’t mean abandoning myself.

The first half of 2025 has been a season of contrast—
immense joy in my career after the pain of job loss,
and deep, quiet challenges with identity, self-worth, and motherhood burnout.

Despite the sleep deprivation, mum guilt, emotional triggers, and nervous system overload,
I’ve kept choosing to show up. Not perfectly, but bravely.
Because I’m not broken — I’m becoming.

Two ERUPT events, pages of reflection, and a whole lot of inner work helped me peel back the layers and face the truth:
I am enough.
I don’t have to do it all.
I just have to keep showing up — with love, clarity, and boundaries.

Each day I’m making space for who I’m becoming:
a regulated, present mother, a confident leader, and a version of me that feels whole.
I’m no longer chasing the old me — I’m evolving.
Slowly. Intentionally. For my family, my career, and my peace.

This October, I’ll attend my third ERUPT.
And I’m about to begin 1:1 mentoring with —
because I’m finally choosing bravery over burnout.

✨Hello 37✨ All I wanted for my birthday was an incredibly overdue Mummy & Daddy date, so we hit the city for some dopamine fun, French cuisine and sky deck views 🌈🇫🇷🔭

Starting off this next lap around the sun stupidly strong with already crushing career goals, investing in my personal development and levelling up in mum life 🩷🫶🏻 2025 is shaping up to be a cracker, and I’m here for every second of it!!

PS - I’ve been quiet on the socials lately with focusing on my family and new job, BUT I’ve decided only just today to sign myself up to another 8 Week Lifestyle Glow-Up challenge starting Monday (I thought I would let the birthday calories settle, first!) Will post updates in my IG channel soon 🥰

✨8 WEEK LIFESTYLE GLOW-UP RESULTS✨

Weight -4.9kg
Arm -1cm
Bust -2.5cm
Waist -7cm
Umbilicus -5cm
Hips -7cm
Thigh -3cm

My first 8 weeks of forever postpartum fitness life 🥰 It wasn’t a perfect 8 weeks, but then again I never demanded perfection of myself, knowing how turbulent and unpredictable mum life can be.

I moved my body as much as I could.
I monitored my food as much as I could.
I drank as much water as I could.
I slept as much as I could.
I listened to my body and rested as much as I could.

And I’m happy with just that, because the proof of following this lifestyle is in the pudding (mmmm… pudding…)

I’m determined to keep levelling up my health and fitness game leading into 2025. I want to feel stronger, I want to improve my pelvic floor health, I want to have more energy to be the best mum I can be to my girls, I want my family to have the happiest version of me at all times.

I’ve proven to myself in just 56 days that I CAN achieve my fitness goals again, even if it’s at a slower pace than I’m used to. Onward and upward!
