40 hours. No food. Just water, mindset, and a lot of self-awareness.
I recently completed a 40-hour fast and honestly, the experience surprised me. Beyond the physical side, I noticed changes in my mental clarity, energy, discipline, cravings, and overall relationship with food.
That said, fasting isn’t about starving yourself or following trends blindly. It’s about understanding your body, metabolic health, inflammation, insulin response, and giving your system a reset when done correctly.
Everyone’s body responds differently, and fasting is definitely not suitable for everyone but the science and benefits around metabolic flexibility and longevity are becoming harder to ignore.
