New drill press.
Experimental break cue for me.
Juma zuma ferulle just cause I had it there.
Samsara break tip.
Potted balls 8 out of first 10 breaks.
Still a new feel for me having a break cue, but I’ll give it some time.
Little bit more work on my break cue.
Bit more sanding but here’s a taste of my rosewood.
Won’t be much to look at but it is a break cue of course.
No splicing, butt jointed to maple shaft.
13mm samsara break tip.
Amboyna Burl next up I reckon while I’m on the single splice train.
Is the yellow veneer too much?
Expensive test to see what it looks like.

I quite like this cue.
Haven’t played with an Ash shaft for a long time.
Nice solid feel to it.
Nice grain.

💵 Is for sale.
Bit hard to see, but the red really comes out in the daylight, helpful if you’re playing pool outside, I know I’m not in this heat.
It’s a day of utilising things that have been sitting doing nothing.
First off me, I did some stuff today.
Second, my 3k plus PC from my sim racing rig, been sitting in the corner, whipped up a quick shelf and mounted one of the monitors so I can watch YouTube.
Third, Milwaukee packout stuff, been sitting in the shed housing 3/4 of the mud wasp population. Don’t worry I only grabbed half of it so far so the wasps still have a home.

Real close to finished on this one.

Finally got to use the drum sander.
Made some veneers for an upcoming cue.
Seems to be the lowest it will go, we will see how it turns out.
