🌻 We had the pleasure of hosting a Pessary and Speculum Workshop with the amazing Dr Melissa Davidson, and it was such a great learning experience for our team.
It was an incredibly valuable course, combining practical hands-on learning with expert clinical insights into Pelvic Health. We gained greater confidence and skills to better support people experiencing pelvic floor concerns.
👏 A huge thank you to Dr Melissa Davidson for sharing her knowledge so generously and creating such an engaging learning environment. Special thanks also to Simon for his support behind the scenes in organising the workshop and helping create such a successful learning experience for everyone involved.
Ongoing education like this helps us continue providing the highest standard of care to our community. We're excited to bring what we've learned back to the clinic and continue supporting Pelvic Health with confidence, compassion, and evidence-based care. 💜

Pelvic pain is more common than we think — affecting 1 in 4 women — yet it’s so often minimised, misunderstood or normalised.
You don’t have to push through pain or wait for it to “settle on its own.” Support exists. 💛
As pelvic health physios, our role isn’t to fix or cure conditions directly, but to help you manage the pain, symptoms + dysfunction that comes with them.
That means improving pelvic floor health, bladder & bowel function, sexual comfort, and overall quality of life.
Your pain is real.
Your symptoms are valid.
And help is available. ✨

✔️Levelling Up in Men’s Health🚹
Physio Bob recently completed a 3-day practical course: Male Pelvic Health - Comprehensive Assessment and Management by Physio Skills.
He refreshed his understanding of anatomical differences between men and women — like the Adam’s apple (obviously😉). The course expanded and refined clinical skills in assessing and managing pelvic pain, with practical training in pe**le rehabilitation and re**al examination areas.
Overall, the course enhanced Bob’s skills in pelvic health and physiotherapy which he can’t wait to apply to practice and support patients with confidence, care and evidence-based treatment📈💪
Always learning, growing and supporting men’s pelvic health with confidence and happy smiles at Pelvic Prime & Physiotherapy in Brisbane🌷
