Last night I had chinese with my main squeeze. ❤
I loved every. single. bite.
My digestion however, did not. 🤦🏼♀️
Did I know before enjoying that delicious meal that I was gonna feel pretty bloated and rubbish ?
YES! Of course. 🤷🏼♀️
I woke up this morning knowing I would sit a bit higher on the scale, feel a bit heavy overall, and not be as 'lean' as every other normal day.
So why am I sharing this?
Because I'm here to remind you (and this is something I constantly preach to my clients) that after celebrations, holidays, untracked meals etc it's not the end of the world!
Those times aren't about the food or your body image. It's about the time spent making a connection and enjoying people's company.
So go enjoy yourself with the knowledge that your body will return to normal if you get straight back into your routine the next day.. I would easily choose 1 day of being uncomfortable and bloated then miss the memories created during the celebrations.

ACCOUNTABILITY
You can be determined, motivated, obsessed even, but if you're not realistic and don't hold yourself accountable you're going to struggle getting the results and maintaining them long-term.
6 ways to hold yourself accountable:
1. Have structure ~ write everything down.
2. Create micro goals ~ small goals you can hit along the way towards your long-term goals
3. Isolate yourself from distractions
4. Reward your accomplishments and milestones
5. Value your
6. Review yourself ~ check in. Ask yourself: "what have I accomplished in the last month/year to help achieve my goals" •• "have I used my time wisely, and built upon my strengths and improved my weaknesses" etc.
If you're truly determined to reach your fitness goals, you have to stop making excuses and start taking action.
Common reasons why people fail to hit or come close to reaching their fitness goals :
• They have unclear goals
• Their actions, habits and routine don't align with their goals
• They lack consistency and training progression
• They try to take SHORT CUTS
• They lack the support
• They don't MAKE time, and end up putting their goals on the back burner
Everyone faces challenges when working towards their goals. Overcoming those challenges is what makes a successful journey even more rewarding. 🙌🏼
The important thing to take away from this is that you recognise your struggles, take action, stay consistent and hold yourself accountable.
Remember that nothing great comes easy 💓

It's easy nowadays to get caught up in comparisons when all we see on social media is everybody's highlight reel.
Try to remember to just be YOU!
You don't have to look like 'X' or do what they do to be successful or awesome ☺
