This week we focused on passing, coordination, and reaction speed, continuing to build the foundations of the modern goalkeeper.

One of our key objectives at CV Goalkeeping Academy is to change the perception that can't play with their feet. In today's game, being comfortable in possession is just as important as making great saves. That's why we work from an early age on ball control, body positioning, first touch, and passing technique, helping our become confident all-round players.

Thursday session ⚽🧤

A great session this week as we welcomed Ollie to the CV Goalkeeping family!
From the very first drills, Ollie showed excellent technical ability, a great attitude, and plenty of potential to develop into a top goalkeeper.
Alongside some of our long-time members, we assessed his technique and focused on improving his footwork speed, movement patterns, and diving mechanics.

Welcome to the team, Ollie! We’re looking forward to being part of your goalkeeping journey and helping you reach your full potential. 💙🤍🖤

⚽️⚽️Archie started with us in August 2025, and from his very first session we could see his potential and strong desire to learn. Since then, we’ve focused on developing his fundamentals and improving his diving technique.

After only a few months, his improvement has been remarkable. Archie has made massive progress in all areas of his game, and his hard work is now being recognised by both teammates and coaches.
Really proud of you, Archie, keep working hard and enjoying the process. The progress will keep coming! ⚽🧤

Second session with Austin, a new member of our CV family, Austin has a great attitude and loves to be in goals.

We have been working on basics such as diving tecnique, catching, recovery and poaitioning. Only 2 sessions and he's showing massive progress.
