In Term 2 we have TWO options for Junior Players:

U16s Junior UltiMate Program at Yeronga State High School starts May 4th (MONDAY), 2026 4-5:30PM
👧🧒 Open to juniors of all experience levels
💛 Focus on fun, skill development, and inclusive play

U18s JUMP at CJ Greenfield Richlands starts May 7th (THURSDAY), 2026 6-7:30PM
🔴Open to juniors aged 14 and up who have participated in U16 JUMP.
🟢Open to juniors aged 16 and up with school experience
🥏Focus on skill development, strategy consolidation and game awareness

It was a MASSIVE Day Three for Extinction at the Australian Ultimate Championships DII in Shepparton.

A win against Outbreak (SA) put us up against Tom's Tim Tams (also SA). The boys were decisive in their final game to secure ninth spot- beating our initial 11th place seed and securing the club the highest finish at a nationals!

There were great displays of GRIT from young and old(er) this weekend as the team ended up 6W-1L! What a weekend!

A MASSIVE effort by the team this afternoon to come e away with the W against Duff Stout- a team we've come up against year after year in Shepparton. The wind picked up and after an early Ext lead Stout showed us another gear and punched a few goals and breaks in to make it a tight game! Fortunately Ext hung on and got the W!

This morning's pre quarter final against Manly Moes didnt go Extinctions way despite a lot of fight from the boys. Whilst this rules out a finals berth Extinction can still beat their seed by making it to the nine-nals. The grind and GRIT doesnt stop!

Game 3- the last game of pool play ended with a massive effort from the boys- with the wind becoming swilly there were lots of great aerial contests and impressive throws.

Extinction finish Pool Play in the #1 spot after initially being seeded second in the pool. Onto Pre Quarters tomorrow!

Game 2 against AWUF is done and dusted (and this time with the scores around the right way). The fight was strong between both teams but the Extinction boys took it away in the second half!

🥏Extinction are en route to Shepparton today ready for three days jam packed with bids, skies, hucks and blocks. 🥏

The 2026 team combines experienced players from the Brisbane Ultimate scene with juniors who have been grinding in Extinction's Junior Programs for the last few years, progressively making their open age group debuts and claiming the U20 representative spots.

The 2026 team has had a strong start to the season with a win a 2nd place at Brisbane Bash and a 7th place finish at Canberra Cup. We're looking forward to carrying this momentum and the learnings from these games into AUCDII!
