Every club has one player who dominates Div 3 and suddenly thinks Premier League is just “the same but faster.”

Then Premier League hits them with:

* weighted touchers
* perfect heads
* skips calling three shots ahead
* bowlers landing within inches all day
* Jack moving 6 times in an end
* and a lead who hasn’t missed since Easter.

Next minute they’re standing on the mat questioning every bowl they’ve ever delivered.

“Thought I was ready…”

Premier League:
“Welcome to the jungle.” 😅

The gap between grades is brutal and the top players make hard bowls look easy.

🍺🚨 NEW CASE FILE 🚨🍺
LAWN & ORDER: SPECIAL BOWLS UNIT and The Grass Is Greener
“The Best Lawn Bowls Player After 3 Beers” Every bowls club has one…

Before beer:
❌ Wrong bias
❌ Blaming the green
❌ Coordination of a folding chair

After three beers:
✅ Tactical genius
✅ Reading the green like a wizard
✅ Giving motivational speeches nobody asked for

According to the Institute of Beer Goggles Precision… peak performance occurs at exactly three beers. Scientific? No. Accurate? Unfortunately yes.

Big thanks to The Grass Is Greener for collaborating on this investigation into one of lawn bowls’ greatest unsolved mysteries 🍻

🎥 Watch now and share with the most dangerous 3-beer bowler at your club before he starts coaching everybody.

The legacy wall- The Honour Boards.

The walls that tell a story..

There’s something special about walking into a bowls club and seeing honour boards proudly displayed on the walls.

Every name tells a story.

Years of volunteering.
Premierships won.
Friendships built.
People who helped shape the club into what it is today.

Honour boards remind us that bowls clubs are more than just buildings and greens,
they are communities built across generations.

The best clubs don’t just celebrate the present.
They respect the people who came before them.

A club can modernise without erasing its soul.

Fresh paint and renovations are great, but the strongest clubs still honour their founders, champions, volunteers and history, it’s not the same feel and nostalgia when it’s not there or on a electronic screen.

Because history creates identity.
Identity creates pride.
And pride keeps clubs strong.

Long live the honour boards.
Long live the stories behind them.

Sometimes those honour boards are the only permanent reminder they were ever there..

Does your club still have honour boards?
We would love to see them.

If so, Does your club keep them updated?
