Cardiff Hockey Club was formed in 1988.
Before the Club could actually take the field a few requirements had to be made.
• A Home Ground had to be established which became “ULINGA PARK” at Cardiff South.
• The field was in desperate need of repairs so resurfacing was required a suitable amount of dirt was placed on the playing grounds.
• A Committee had to be formed which consisted of team members – President, Treasurer and a Delegate.
