Red Dust Poker Our aim is to offer a diverse array of poker tournaments in Broken Hill.

Bit of a long one, but bear with me.

For everyone that wasn't at our game last Friday night, I discussed some of this info. Starting next season we're going to do things a little different.

The season will run for the entire year, we will take a 3 week break over Christmas and resume on January 8th and we will finish in December (date to be confirmed).

Points will be awarded the same for the top 10 places, but, you will get a point just for showing up and playing, so if you finish in 10th place you'll get 2 points, 9th you'll get 3 points etc.

All tournaments will now award points except for a select few (more on that at a later date), any Saturday tournaments held will also include points which means the Royal Flush Jackpot will be available at most games, the same $5 will be taken from your buyins as normal, tournament buyins that haven't already been changed will be adjusted to reflect this.

Our bounty games are changing also, players will be awarded 1 point for how many players they knockout, all the more reason to chase those precious bounties!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our tournament on Friday.

With a small field, we had double add-ons available.

We had 10 players, 2 rebuys and 16 add-ons, with $830 in cash up for grabs, $50 was added to our royal flush jackpot!

Mal and Ricky went to war trading blows hand after hand early in the night, but Ricky had the last laugh after both players flopped a set with Ricky coming out on top, with a set of 10's!

We finally have a new leader with Michael O'Donnell taking out the win. He didn't have it all his own way though, with Corralee putting up a fight and getting dealt pocket aces no less than 5 times on the final table, winning everytime she was holding them except the last time! It's tight for the minor placings also, with a 3 way tie for 2nd place, crazy!!

Just 6 games to go this season, you don't wanna miss out!

We had 14 players with 14 rebuys and 12 add-ons.

Totalling $1,520 in cash up for grabs!! With $70 added to our royal flush jackpot!

The rebuys were flying on Friday night with 10 people using up both of their lives, just trying to stay alive!!

Jarred Menz bossed the tables on his return to Red Dust Poker, his first game this season, he was as aggressive as ever, showing no mercy, taking down players left and right!! Picking up the win, the cash and max points for his efforts, congratulations and well played!
