🏑 BRUNSWICK STARS SHINE AT U14 NATIONALS! 🖤🤍

Four Brunswick juniors proudly represented Victoria at last week’s U14 National Hockey Championships in Canberra - and all four earned Player of the Match honours! 👏

🌟 Tess Barrett - Victorian Girls State Team (4th)
A brilliant tournament! Nine wins, narrowly missing the gold medal match on goal difference before a heartbreaking 1-0 bronze medal loss to Queensland.

🌟 Gabriella Maxwell - Girls Development (9th)
A fantastic effort between the posts, representing Victoria as goalkeeper!

🌟 Sophia Pezzimenti - Girls Development (9th)
A terrific tournament, stepping up as Vice Captain and leading by example!

🌟 Benny Wilson - Boys Development (10th)
Vice Captain and goalkeeper, Benny had a cracking tournament, earning TWO opposition-awarded Player of the Match honours against ACT and WA Gold! The boys gave every game a red-hot go!

👏 Huge congratulations to Tess, Gabriella, Sophia and Benny! State selection is a tremendous achievement, and earning individual recognition on the national stage makes it even more special.

You’ve represented Victoria and Brunswick brilliantly. We’re incredibly proud of you all!

Go Brunswick!🖤🤍

🏑 Brunswick at the U18 Junior State Championships! 🏑

A few weeks ago, some of our Brunswick players took to the field at the U18 Junior State Championships, and they made us proud.

North West Metro Tigers Boys 🐯

Went down 1-0 to Flames in an incredibly tight match. They almost levelled it in the final three minutes, but a drag flick bounced off the post instead of finding the net. So close! A valiant effort by all.

From BHC: Will Tracey, Daniel Phillips, Jonathon Avotins, Archie Oswald, Will Summerfield and Deb Gough (Team Manager) 👏

North West Metro Tigers Girls 🥉

What a bronze medal match! They came back from behind with a strong finish, full of attack, composure, game management and plenty of heart to get over the line. A great bronze medal win!

From BHC: Gabriella Pezzimenti, Leah Vom and Amber Pezzimenti (Team Manager) 👏

Well done to all our players, and thanks to everyone who came out to support. We can’t wait to see what’s next! 🤍

Here’s just some of the action from our VL2 Men’s grand final victory. The game was razor-sharp, both teams played brilliantly but the Wickers boys kept their cool and got a deserved win. What a game! 🏑🏆🏑
