THE VL2 GUYS ARE INTO THE GRAND FINAL!! The boys grabbed a confident 2-0 win over Bayside Powerhouse and secured a place in the big game. We can’t wait to see it!

RUNNERS UP!! Our 16 Pennant boys played hard in the grand final on Friday night but despite a late goal they were unable to overcome a strong WestVic and fell 1-2.
The boys had a great season and should be very proud of their efforts. Thanks to the huge crowd who came to support us!

After a 1–1 draw against La Trobe Uni and a nail-biting 3-2 penalty shootout win, our Women’s Metro 1 NW are back in action this Sunday, fighting for a spot in the Grand Final! 💪🏑

With a mix of new and returning players, it’s been fantastic to see how much this team has grown and come together throughout the season.

Brunswicks Metro East team who made up the 8th Team for the Women’s Section of 2026.

A group of women who didn’t really know one another, came together & produced a season that they should all be very proud of. We had absolute beginners to the game as well as others coming back from not playing since their schools days, to some old timers who have been around hockey for a little while. Plus an ice hockey player who transferred her skills to field hockey. Also let’s not forget some talented U14s who helped the team out throughout the season.

This team ended up in finals in their first season! Unfortunately, on a beautiful sunny day down in Albert Park last Saturday we ended up with a 1-1. So off to Shootouts we went. Here I must congratulate our Goalie Jess who took over from our first goalie Lauren Watson, as she was Overseas. Jess produced some incredible saves throughout the game that kept the team in the fight. We went down 0-2 in shootouts but Jess played like a champion.

A fabulous team to Coach & play with throughout this extraordinary season. Again congratulations to you all.

Been meaning to add this photo of the Women’s 45s Masters team, who played their last home & away game out at Monash 26th August. The team finished just out of the top 4, a pretty good result.
