Had mega pace over the whole weekend but due to some poor driver standards from another driver ended my final after turn 1 time to bounce back ready for the next round

Despite a difficult start to the weekend at Wundowie, which included throwing a chain in qualifying, I persevered and made a strong comeback.

Back to back podiums at the start of the year
To nothing at the end of the year

Winning a few open meeting heats
Setting lap record at king of the hill and putting it on pole position
Travelling to 2 new tracks
Getting the podium for carnival of karts

Just before Easter I raced carnival of karts
And I will say this was the best event in my karting journey

Friday/ practice
Running motor in and seeing what pace we had on old tyres ended the day with some good data and a positive start to the weekend

Saturday

Qualifying
P1 out of 17 karts

Heat 1
Starting pole got a great and start and lead from start from finish and had a good gap from second.

Heat 2
Started pole again but got a bad start and made wrong call on tyre pressure and could not get them to grip till lap 5 and first drove away leaving me to fight for 2nd with my good mate.

Pre final
Starting on the front row again and if I wanted to start pole for the final had to win the prefinal or finish second.
Got a very good start and lead from start to finish again

Sunday

Final
Was a kf front row lockout
Unfortunately didn't get a great start and got jumped and dropped to 2nd and battled for the whole final and came away second almost won
And we got kf podium lockout

Friday practice Started off with some minor issues with the mychron data logger not recording times and rpm left us in the dark all of Friday practice sessions.

5th in the final on Sunday

Ended up with enough points for 3rd over the whole weekend

Starting 2023 off with a bang
First round of the new state series here in WA

First run in Albany for the team and I will say this track is one of the most fun layouts I've ever run ever in karting

Started off with practice and getting a a look at the track and learning the lines
Believed I was in top 5 times all day

Show some strong pace all day and with times so close from p2 to p6 was hard to pass
