Tough weekend last weekend at Bunbury for Western Cup Round 2. In a strong field of 30 Tag 125 Light drivers, we qualified 10th in the close field.

A strong 8th place finish in heat 1, but from there our weekend went downhill, 19th in heat 2 due to a cracked header pipe and numerous crashes and then a DNF in the pre-final.

Starting the final from 14th we managed to drive to 10th to finish off the weekend.

Started P4 in heat 2, pretty rough race, managed to hold onto a 6th place ready for the pre-final tomorrow morning. Kart was quick, just comes down to track position now!!

Started 4th in heat 1, managed to jump to 2nd on the start but dropped to 4th by the end of the race. Kart felt decent but will be better for heat 2!

P4 in qualifying out of 30 strong TaG light drivers, keen for the racing to start.

Friday practice at Western Cup Round 1 - Wanneroo.

Kart was very quick today, strong pace ready for timed practice and heat races tomorrow.

Back to Wanneroo this weekend for the first round of the Western Cup Series in TaG Light! Over 30 entries for this class so the racing will be super close.

We're keen to get back there after absolutely dominating the final round last year at Wanneroo in TaG Heavy. Keen for a great weekend!

Heat 1: Started 1st, dropped back to 5th on the start, managed to drive back to 3rd.

Heat 2: Started 3rd, managed to drive to 2nd on the first lap, took the lead but finished 2nd.

Pre-Final: Started on 2nd, dropped back to 5th but managed to make a late move and grab 4th.

This put us in 3rd overall with 862 points, overall it was a good weekend, especially running 7kg over in every race but happy with the result. Cheers to Stanley Motorsport, TBKart Australia and KS Race Engines.

Qualifying about to get underway for the first race meeting of 2016, the Albany Southern Sprint. Running #96 TBKart Australia TaG light with the KSRaceEngines built X30. Kart had great pace in Friday practice, keen to start racing.
