1934 and 1936 Bundaberg Rugby League Junior Representative Teams

Earlier today, on the "Percy Ayres Field" at East Magpies Sports Club, Percy's sign was happily reinstated.
The sturdy new sign was personally made by Bec Haskins, and installed by Bec and Aaron Parker.

Thanks to the small gathering of Easts junior players & parents, committee members, and a few Old Boys who joined Percy's family at the unveiling.

It was also lovely to see 92 year-old Stan Coster in attendance. Stan is a good friend of Percy and family - he is a Life Member of Natives along with Percy, who was the first Foundation Life Member.

Our club owes much to Percy Ayres, it was a pleasure to meet his family today and pay homage to a true Magpie gentleman.
