✨ A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY
This is my fourth time travelling to India, and each time I return, I discover something new.
India invites me to look beyond the familiar, question what I think I know and sit with the things I don’t yet understand.
My spiritual journey has taken me in many directions. I’m drawn to the practices of yoga, the philosophical traditions of Hinduism, the wisdom of Ayurveda and, on this Buddhist pilgrimage, the teachings of the Buddha.
Sometimes I wonder how these traditions fit together. How can I learn from them while honouring their origins, respecting their differences and the people who have carried this wisdom through generations?
Maybe you’ve asked similar questions. Can we be drawn to different paths? Do we need to settle on one set of beliefs? What does it mean to be spiritual?
I’m learning that I don’t need all the answers.
For me, spirituality isn’t just about what we believe, but how we live. Can I become more compassionate, listen more deeply and offer more love to others, including myself?
I’ve always believed spirituality doesn’t have to look one particular way. It can be found in meditation, yoga, ancient teachings and simple acts of kindness.
And it can be found in nature, too. In the quiet of a forest, the changing seasons, the sound of the ocean or the earth beneath our feet. Sometimes, being present in the natural world reconnects us to something greater than ourselves.
Maybe it’s less about finding one path and more about discovering what helps us live with an open heart, a curious mind and a deeper appreciation for the world around us.
Where do you find your spiritual connection?
