Congratulations Victor Kovalenko the GREAT!
Victor Kovalenko to be inducted into the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame - Australian Sailing Renowned sailing coach, Victor ‘the medal maker’ Kovalenko OAM, will be inducted into the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame this week at a ceremony in Sydney.

This Saturday afternoon and evening, some of the world's greatest 470 sailors ever, Olympic Gold Medalists, World Champions, "The Medal Maker"- Victor, other coaching greats - Fletch and Buster, pioneers of the class - such as Gary Gietz, Abbott, Jacko, JD, McLennan, TIllet, Gilbert Bros, Gojnich, Quigley, Ruff, Brown to name are handful will all be celebrating. AUS 470 50 Year Anniversary Celebrations An afternoon of sailing for The Legends Cup. Join in the series of short races, held close tp shore, in 6 470’s being made available by the 470 Class Association, or relax as a spectator on the grass knoll. A formal celebration dinner will be held from 6:30pm.
