Another glorious sunrise yoga session at Trinity beach where the rain disappeared and the sun shone upon us.
There was some confusion about whether to go to the beach or the hall.
So Iβm creating two WhatsApp groups - Trinity beach and Lake placid. If you want to be added please message me your phone number. This will be a quick easy way to update you if is too wet and we need to go to the hall or if itβs too wet at Lake placid and need to cancel. Sometimes finding the Facebook notification can be hard or slow. ππΌ
Yoga is not about changing; itβs about peeling away the layers of what we are not.

Day two of Winter in the tropics and this was our view at Trinity Beach yoga this morning. The sun rise with an exclamation mark, surprised by its own beauty?! βοΈ!
Nick treated us to a sound meditation at the end of kirtan and what a treat it was. Shakuhachi flute might be the most calming instrument, it gets deep into your being, delivering you to peace.

This month in Tuesday Evening Flow we have been practicing the traditional Surya Namaskar, combining mantra with movement to deepen the experience into a moving meditation.
The practice begins slowly and steadily, then gradually builds in rhythm and energy as the mantra increases in pace.
Each pose connects to one of the 12 names of the Sun, representing qualities we can awaken within ourselves β clarity, strength, joy, radiance, devotion and more.
You can find many versions of the mantra on Spotify to practice with at home. Practiced in this way, Surya Namaskar becomes more than movement β a way of connecting to a greater truth within ourselves.
