Alright team… I’ve been skipping the fancy pre-workout powders lately and running an experiment… Chester Suen

Can FOOD spike your metabolism and wake your body up just as hard?

So here’s today’s metabolic missile at 4:00AM 👇
✅ 2 x corn thins
✅ Slab of peanut butter (not a scrape… a SLAB 😤)
✅ Drizzle of honey
✅ Little bit of salt (because I’m classy)
✅ 2 shots of coffee + sweetener
(because I’m not sweet enough) 😎
✅ Electrolytes before training

Now listen… this isn’t just a snack. This is metabolic strategy 🧠🔥

Carbs + caffeine = quick energy ⚡
Fats = long lasting fuel 🥜
Salt + electrolytes = hydration + performance 💧

And eating early tells your body:
🚨 “WAKE UP. WE’RE WORKING. START THE ENGINE.” 🚨

PT WEEKLY CONFESSIONS: RED ROOSTER EDITION 🐓🔥

So last night I missed the 7pm Woolies/Coles closing time…
and I was on the hunt for an IGA like I was searching for the Holy Grail of chicken breast.
I’d been up since midnight… running on fumes… about 29 hours awake… absolutely ROOTED.

Then my wife goes:
“Why don’t we just go Red Rooster and get a hot chook?”
And I’m like…
Fk yeah. Why didn’t my brain think of that earlier? 🤝😂
So I pull up to Red Rooster drive-thru thinking it’s gonna be simple…

Then BOOM.
I’m hit with the menu temptation like a full-blown ambush:
🍗 fried chicken
🍔 burgers
🌯 rolls
🍟 chips
🍰 desserts screaming my name
💀 combos designed to destroy 12 weeks of progress

And I’m sitting there like…
“Stay calm… stay strong… don’t fold…”
So I order:
“One hot chook and hot potatoes please.”
Old mate goes:
“Sorry can you repeat the order?”
And I’m thinking this is where people die… this is where they add chips and gravy…
So I repeat:
“ONE HOT CHOOK… AND HOT POTATOES.”

He goes:
“Anything else?”
And I was already halfway out the drive-thru like a fugitive.
NO. NOTHING ELSE. SHUT IT DOWN. 🚗💨😂
Paid my $23 and escaped with my dignity intact.
Got home… ate the whole chook and the hot potatoes…
and guess what?
I was full.
No dessert.
No extra damage.
No regret.

Yeah… maybe I went over calories…
but I didn’t turn a tired decision into a full-blown food bender.
That’s discipline.
Sometimes when you eat out, you don’t get “perfect”…
you just get the best option available and keep the wheels turning.
Progress isn’t about never being tempted…
it’s about making the best call when your brain is cooked and the menu is trying to seduce you. 😤🔥
Win the small battles.

While the world’s out here getting ambushed by muffins and iced coffees, ya boy just hit the elite snack combo: for only 585 cents......

🥚 4 x Hungry Jacks eggs
☕ Black coffee (no sugar, no feelings)
🍗 1 x grilled chicken breast

Because sometimes the best snack isn’t sexy…
it’s just straight up discipline in a bag.

Macro Breakdown (approx):
🥚 4 eggs:

🍗 100g chicken breast:
✅ Protein: 31g
✅ Fat: 3.5g

That’s not a snack…

SLEEP, RECOVERY & THE MURPH MOUSTACHE ERA

Everyone wants a faster metabolism…
But no one wants to go to bed 😴
Except lately… I do.

Last night: 👉 10+ hours deep sleep
👉 716 calories burnt while sleeping
👉 Zero cardio
👉 Zero lifting
👉 Just snoring like a freight train under a SICK Murph moustache 🥸

Yes, the moustache is huge.
Yes, it’s got its own postcode.
Yes, recovery clearly grows facial hair too.

Sleep and recovery aren’t soft.
They’re anabolic.
Hormones reset.
Nervous system calms.
Metabolism goes brrrrr 📈

And let’s talk about that video…
