Our U10 Phoenix, U12 Tomahawks, U12 Renegades, U14 Vipers, U16s and our mighty Men are back in action today, ready to build on Round 1 and bring that Braves spirit! 🪶🔥

❤️💙 100 MEMBERS. ONE FAMILY. A PROMISE THAT'S COMING TO LIFE. 💙❤️

🥎🔥 ROUND 1, AND WE'VE ALREADY HIT A MILESTONE! 100 REGISTERED MEMBERS! 🔥🥎

But this milestone is about so much more than a number. It's about a promise, a legacy, a community, and a whole lot of heart.

Let's take you back to June 2024...

In what would be a quiet phone call, a promise was made to our guardian angel, our matriarch, our one and only Neidra. ❤️

A promise to build a foundation. To put Sportz Braves back on the path to its former glory. To bring the club back to a place where its heart, its people, and its community could shine again.

And just like a phoenix rising from the ashes (yes, we're looking at you, Phoenix! 🔥❤️), here we are. A little over two years later, and we've reached an incredible milestone: 100 MEMBERS STRONG! 🥎🎉

The last couple of seasons have been nothing short of a mammoth team effort. From our President and committee, to our coaches, managers, parents, families, volunteers, and, of course, our absolute stars — OUR KIDS — every single one of you has played a part in getting us here.

Every conversation that encouraged someone to join.

Every social media share that reached a new family.

Every hour spent coaching, managing, organising, setting up, packing down, fundraising, cheering from the sidelines, and keeping this club moving forward.

Every bit of love, dedication, and heart shown on and off the diamond, during the season and in the off-season.

IT ALL MATTERS. AND IT ALL ADDS UP. ❤️💙

We couldn't be where we are today, and we couldn't have achieved what we have, without every single person who has stood beside us, believed in us, and helped us rebuild.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. 🥹❤️

And to our Neidra...

Your legacy was never something we needed to build from scratch. The love you poured into this club, the people you brought together, and the foundation you laid were always there. We just needed to find our way back to them.

We know you were up there watching over our teams today, seeing the smiles, the teamwork, the excitement, and the beginning of another season. We hope you saw what we've been working so hard to create — a club that continues to grow, a community that continues to come together, and a Braves family that carries your love forward.

🥎❤️💙 🚨 BIRTHDAY ALERT! 🚨 💙❤️🥎

Today we celebrate TWO absolute legends of the Sportz Braves family — our Vice President Sharon & Head Statistician Darryl! 🎉🎂

If there’s one thing these two know how to do, it’s manage chaos like absolute professionals. 😂

From wrangling the Tiny Tots 🧒🥎 to keeping the juniors on track, helping parents figure out what on earth they’re supposed to be doing, answering the same question for the 47th time… and somehow surviving the men’s team 🤦‍♂️😂 — there’s no level of chaos they haven’t conquered!

And then there’s scoring… 🤯📊

While the rest of us are watching the ball, cheering, yelling, questioning umpire decisions and wondering whose kid is currently running where…

Darryl is apparently operating an entire NASA control room from the scorer’s box. 🚀😂

And Sharon? She’s probably somewhere in the background making sure everyone has what they need, solving problems, organising people and wondering why she ever said, “Yep, I can help with that.” 😂

Both have the patience of saints, the organisational skills of military generals and the unique ability to keep smiling while surrounded by children, adults, siblings, coaches, players and approximately 400 different questions at once. 😂

You’re not just two of the people who keep this club ticking — you’re two of its biggest pillars of support, and we genuinely wouldn’t be the same without you. ❤️💙

So today, we hope you both get to sit back, relax, eat cake, enjoy a beverage of choice and most importantly…
