🥔 WORLD POTATO DAY SPECIAL 🥔

In honour of International Potato Day on Saturday 30 May, yes apparently this is actually a thing 😂, we’ve decided to celebrate this humble little vegetable the best way we know how…

By helping people become slightly less potato-like 😊

Fitness 4 Life will be offering FREE group strength and conditioning classes this coming week for both:

📍 Wednesday 27th at 8:45am
📍 Friday 29th at 8:15am
📍 At the Malua Bay Community Hall

Our classes are specifically designed for adults over 40 and focus on:
💪 Strength & Conditioning
🦴 Bone health
⚖️ Balance
😊 Confidence
❤️ Overall wellbeing

We don’t believe in “no pain no gain” 💩 so you can be assured that we won’t burn you to a crisp. We do however believe in making it fun so we will be mashing it up with lots of variety.

If you’ve been feeling like a bit of a couch potato and have been thinking about getting started, but feeling nervous, unsure, unfit, stiff, sore, or just generally a little too potato-like lately… this is your sign. Maybe you’re going through life changes and carrying a bit of a chip on your shoulder… or maybe you’re feeling slightly crinkle cut these days. Perhaps you just need some "You Time" so you don’t feel like such a hot potato 🥔

Whether you’re a mashed potato, sweet potato, or full couch potato, you’re welcome here. Whatever form of potato you identify as, come along, have some fun, meet some lovely people, and see what it’s all about.

Bring your fellow couch potatoes along and together we can become one big family sized bag of chips… I mean friends 😂
Come along for a smashing good time… without the mashing.

Zero fitness required. Only potato level determination needed 🥔

At Fitness 4 Life, we offer mobile personal training, which means we come to you 😊

We specialise in working with adults over 40, including perimenopausal and menopausal women, as well as men experiencing andropause. We are also able to support NDIS participants.

Our goal is simple, to help you move better, feel better, and regain confidence in your body and your everyday life.

We focus on improving strength, mobility, balance, bone health, joint health, and overall wellbeing in a supportive and judgement free environment.

There is no age limit either. Our oldest client is in her 90s, while our youngest client is 17 😊

Every person’s goals are different, which is why every program is tailored to you.

For some people, the goal is simply being able to get up off the floor unassisted again.
For others, it is being able to pick up the grandkids, go for a jog, improve their balance, maintain their independence, or continue looking after their own home.

Some clients come to us because their doctor, specialist, physio, or healthcare team has recommended exercise and strength training to help improve their health and quality of life.

We can work around injuries, medical conditions, mobility limitations, and different fitness levels.

Whatever your goal may be, we would love the opportunity to help you work towards it, and maybe even achieve more than you thought possible 💛

⭐️ LOOKING FOR COMMUNITY GROUP NOMINATIONS ⭐️

At Fitness 4 Life, we strongly believe in community, and part of that is being able to give back to the communities around us 💛

You’ve probably seen one of my many posts about what we do. Suzanne (my fiancée) and I run a small boutique mobile personal training business, along with group fitness classes here in the Eurobodalla.

We specialise in working with adults over 40, with a strong focus on improving strength, balance, mobility, confidence, and overall wellbeing in a supportive, welcoming, and judgement free environment. There is no age limit either, our oldest client to date is 91 😊

As our business continues to grow, we would really love the opportunity to give something back to the community in our own small way.

We are currently looking for one or two local not for profit or community groups that may benefit from some complimentary strength and mobility based group exercise classes.

We would especially love the opportunity to connect with any First Nations community groups as well.

Come and try something different 💛

Strength training classes designed specifically for people over 40.

This isn’t about turning into Arnold Schwarzenegger or his female equivalent. It’s gentle, supportive strength training designed to meet you where you’re at, regardless of your fitness level or experience.

As we get older, this type of training becomes incredibly important for maintaining strength, balance, confidence, bone health, and independence in everyday life.

The goal isn’t “hardcore fitness.”
It’s staying strong enough to enjoy life, carry the groceries, keep up with the grandkids, and continue doing the things you love.

Everything is done at your own pace in a welcoming and supportive environment.

I’m a qualified personal trainer who specialises in working with people over 40, and I created these classes because I understand that one on one personal training isn’t always affordable with the current cost of living.

This gives you the guidance and support of a qualified trainer in a more affordable group setting.

Did you know that in NSW alone, falls and related injuries lead to approximately 41,000 hospitalisations and more than 1,200 deaths every year?

Around 1 in 3 people over the age of 65 will experience a fall each year, and that risk increases even further as we age.

One of the biggest misconceptions about aging is believing that losing strength, balance, and confidence is simply “part of getting older.”

Walking, yoga, and Pilates can all be wonderful for movement, flexibility, and wellbeing, but strength training plays a completely different and incredibly important role as we age.

It’s not about becoming a bodybuilder.

It’s about being strong enough to keep doing the things you love safely and confidently.

Because while we may not always be able to prevent a fall, we can help reduce the risk of serious injury by building strength, stability, balance, reflex and resilience.

I specialise in strength training for people over 40, with every session tailored to your body, your starting point, and any injuries or conditions you may have.
