What a day!

Breakfast with my beautiful small family.

5 hr shift at work to cover some casuals.

Got home.

Got changed went out with my son and wife to watch our friends LARP.
That was so fun.

Got home and did the gardening.

Then made some Lasagne.
And had some wonderful red wine.

I'd say overall a super perfect day!!!

Today I drank my last dose of Nicaraguan Natural Marsellesa from Miraflor. 800-900MASL 🤤😢
This was a super under rated coffee when it hit the shelves and even now drinking it I understand why it may get looked past.

However I've found this coffee crazy easy to brew, super consistent and just overall yummy, and honestly isn't that what we are all looking for in a cup of coffee?

So please next time if you see a coffee from Nicaragua on the shelf, give it a go. These coffees may not be super fruit driven like many others, but they are clean, crisp and yum.

2021!
What a year!

I sit back in my comfy chair with one of my favourite coffees and profiles (this coffee is one of the reasons I suggested to name our son Jasper 😅🤷‍♂️) to once again reflect how this year has been for me.

I think its safe to say its actually been wonderful. I know this might be a bit of a shock. However this year has really forced me to grow in more ways than I ever anticipated for this year.

I became a father, I also started a number of side hustles and my wife and I set up a day care inside our home even with no outlook of lockdown ending to allow us to actually begin trading.

I am also so thankful to all the friendships and relationships that were able to be developed at a higher level due to a slower pace this year.

What will 2022 hold for me? Well I know work wise there is way too much happening and I can't say anything yet.
But personally I plan to spend much more time with my family and try to keep that the normal. I also hope to continue becoming a better coffee trainer to teach all you wonderful people how to make coffee at home.

But ultimately I want to see 2022 be the year of serenity and relaxation after so much chaos and stress for me over the last 5 years.

I may even take more of a break from socials and continue to try put my phone away.

Thanks and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and all your families.
